semi newbie, looking for help

I have been studying internet marketing a bit but am pretty new to the world. I am not looking to get rich, just to make a little extra money on the side.

There are millions of programs out there, and I am looking for recommendations to get me started. The specific details I am looking for are:

A program that cost less than $100. (The magic price of $97 will do.)

As I mentioned I am just doing this on the side, so will be able to commit ~5 hours a week starting out to it.

Would like something that has a relatively high probability of yielding back the amount invested within the first month.

That means about twenty hours of work for a hundred bucks. A measly five dollars an hour.

Obviously I would love to make more.

Whatever I end up starting with, I will certainly give it at least this much time (likely a lot more) but if I don't see signs of making back the amount invested in the first 60 days (or whatever the return window is) I'll most likely return and ask for a refund.

Give me your best shot, what do you suggest?

Go buy a domain name and hosting account, and teach yourself to build a website or blog.

There's a program called Newbie University that costs $47 a month. It's designed for beginners and has videos that take you through every step in detail. It also has a forum and help-desk - not many products have forums and help-desks

It takes you through keyword research, through to building a list and product creation. It's all designed for newbies so maybe that is what you need.

I would say get a blog and start writing about something you enjoy. Little investment and monetise it with something that fits.
