Can Someone Please Answer This Question For Me?

Hi, I'd be grateful if someone can help me with this.

I've been using clickbank for a while now, but instead of getting paid by cheque, I want to get paid my direct deposit. I meet all the clickbank requirements for this to happen.

I am based in the UK, and I would like to know whether the sort code on my account is the routing number that clickbank asks for?

I rang my bank (HSBC) and i spoke to someone in a call centre in india, who told me that they did not know what a routing number was. So I am pretty stuck at the moment.

    How long this routing number should be?

    If you are doing international transfer you need IBAN and SWIFT code. Normal short code and account number is no good.

    There's only 2 codes what you need for international transfer.IBAN and SWIFT. In UK and EU anyway...

    I don't know what a sort code is. I rang my bank the other day to get the Swift number for my 2checkout account to be paid via direct debit. The guy at the bank was really good and asked me if I needed the routing number also, which I didn't, but he gave it to be just in case.
    So I would think that your bank should know what it is and should be able to give it to you, I would ring them again if I were you.

    You need to enter the sort code and the account number.
