google Keyword tool vs. traffic estimator
I'm a little confused about what I'm seeing in google keyword tool vs. what I see in google traffic estimator.
When I type in "big brown dog" (just an example) in keyword tool and hit Search, it says there are 1,000,000 Global Monthly Searches. Sounds good so far.
Now, when I click on "Traffic Estimator" and type in the same "big brown dog" and hit "Estimate" is says that there are only 150 Global Monthly Searches for that phrase. Wow, big drop. So why the discrepancy between the two? Or am I comparing two completely different metrics?
