the site is greenface-mktg.com

and i cant figure out for the life of me, how to fig the logo.

basically i need to make room for the logo to fit above the blue nav bar there..

but i cant seem to find where the code is at in the css..

could you take a look at the source code and tell me what you think..

(theres nothing on the blog so this isnt some undercover marketing method) i just need to get my site up and running asap! i have deadlines.

    why dont u resize ur logo to a thinner one? if u dont want to resize then u can also opt to select some other theme for ur blog which has wider title space..

    Here's a quick CSS fix. It looks "good enough" for me.

    Code:
    #header img {

        position: absolute;
        top: 10px;
        left: 10px;
        z-index: 1;
    }
    #navbar {
        margin-top: 23px;
    }
    #navbar, #nav-sub {
        padding-left: 370px
    }
    Just add that to your stylesheet.

        Look for

        Code:
        #navbar {
         MARGIN-TOP: 77px
        and change it to 175px

        See if it helps.

    You need to go back to the drawing board on this one. That is WAY too much logo. Takes up all of your above the fold real estate. You need to size that way down so it's actually a logo rather than an enormous green graphic.

      actually the site you see is the look we were going for...we had to change blog themes though, and this current theme ended up giving us more space for the larger logo...

        I see that this is a template from Elegant Themes. (look at your footer)

        I recommend you going to their site and click on the support tab and go into the forums there. You should find a moderator/host or user that can help you with the coding problem you are having.

        Ok ... no problem. Just some advice from someone who designs websites for a living. People will get awfully tired of seeing a full screen logo and having to scroll down to see content.

    I don't know but to throw my two cents in (maybe more important as you go along): Suzanne is right, WAY too much above the fold. All logo. I mean, don't get me wrong but I'd go a little bit different with secondary pages? It might be unimportant if there's only a couple pages, but I think it would be tedious for regular visitors to have to scroll an entire page before getting to content on a regular basis? Just a thought. I know it'd be tough but for your single.php/page.php you can include a different header file to have a shorter main logo on those pages?
    I don't know, play with it and see if it works [that's what she said]

    You probably want to hit up the elegantthemes support forum for this. It's the personalpress theme.
