DirectoryPress Wp Theme!

Hi all,

Is anybody working with or have experience working with the above theme?

If so could they PM me as i'm having problems trying to sort out a few things on it via my sites dashboard.

Starting to get real frustrated with the ****** thing!!!

    Michael, honestly, if your mission is to set up a directory, I'd dump the WP directory in a heartbeat and go with PHP Link Directory Script - Latest Version Released September 2010

    I own a number of directories and none of the scripts out there matched the simplicity or robustness of the PHPlinkdirectory.

    In comparison, the WP Directory doesn't even come close.

    The PHPlinkdirectory is altogether user friendly, a breeze to install, a cinch to change themes and a ton of options that allow you to amp it into much more than a directory if you so choose.

    thank you for your PM however you are using a hacked theme, version 1.4 was stolen along time ago (distributed without my permission), not sure how you managed to get that but im afraid i cannot support hacked/stolen themes.

    The latest version is 5.0 and you can purchase a copy from my website;

    Hi Michael,
    As long as you're starting from ground zero, you might want to check out Classipress from appthemesDOTcom. I tried out a bunch of Directory plug-ins and found out that Classipress did everything I needed it to do. Good luck!

      I'm trying out the CouponPress and is OK. But a key feature is missing. There's a view count counter for each coupon according to the demos and showcases. But when I tried it, no view count display.

      Their website is currently down, totally down, so I can't even reach out to their support forum or create a ticket.

      They do have chat support available and it looks like they took away the view counter display for their current theme.

      Anyone out there using couponpress have the view counter going? or maybe a tip on how to place view counters on posts?

        What a total worthless product is Directory Press, I disabled new user registration and people are still able to register in some way and spamming my site.
