What is the fastest way to build a big responsive list?

I say it's product launch to squeeze page.

Or media appearance where you can reference a squeeze page .

What do you think? What are some other super fast ways to build a big responsive, targeted list?

    I'd say it's a viral video with a call to action at the end. But you can never be sure what will go viral. Past that product launch to squeeze page makes a lot of sense, or if you've got cash to burn maybe PPC to squeeze page.

      PPC to squeeze page and redirect to a product through your affiliate link = less cash burning and possible profits

        Also could be a ban from Adwords depending on if you're using them or not.

          Paid traffic to squeeze page.

          It's not about burning cash, but rather making an investment with the proper knowledge and proper planning as well as testing, tracking, and optimization.

          If you know what you are doing and know how to buy high quality traffic, there is no faster way.

          There are tons of traffic sources other than Adwords that you can use, but by far Google is the best place to get started if you don't have a big budget for media buys, etc.

          Also, Ron is correct about how you can offset costs with an immediate offer once you capture their data.

          The offer has to be highly relevant and high converting and if this is true you will make a profit and build a list for free.

          Then building the relationships and the follow ups are all gravy when you sell them other services and products or recommend affiliate offers.

          The keys are:

          1. Having a spending budget (investment)
          2. High converting squeeze page (testing, optimization)
          3. Targeted high-quality traffic
          4. Having an offer on the back end as soon as they opt in
          5. Killer follow up sequences and cross sells.
          It ain't as easy as it sounds, but I have not found a way that is faster.

          Regardless of which method you use (i.e. Product Launch, JV's, PPC, Social Media, Media Buying, etc.), you are going to limited by the resources you have access to.

            Indeed. It also comes down to how well you know your market and what they want. You need to know what terms the potential buyers in your market are searching for. Then you just need to get an offer in front of them that they can't resist.

            Create your offer based on what people want instead of trying to figure out how to get them interested in your offer after it's already created.

            Not rocket science. If you think about it in those terms, it seems easy.

            Aside from having a squeeze page, another way to build your list is by sending traffic directly to a sales page for one of your products and offer a free version of the product. This way, they have already been exposed to your product and you have some perceived credibility as a product owner.

            You then have many additional chances to convince them why they need the premium version of your product.

    Not to be taken as lightly as I just said it. It's a lesson in research to build a large, responsive list like this.

    Know your people

    Know what they want

    Know how they want it

    And you can go a loooooooooooong way by using pay per click like this to build your list(s).
