I highly suggest you check out the site below. It teaches you how to make 3000 dollars a month with no money and no credit card. It is also completely free.
This is how I make Money.
the only other advice I would give you is to use blogger.com along with the site below that is if you want to go the complete free way.

If your goal is to simply double the $150 dollars, then the best way to make money online is to buy low and sell high. Adult products sell like hotcakes on ebay. I'm not being sarcastic, if you want to make a quick buck, peddling adult playthings on ebay works every time.

Now if your goal is to develop a real online business, you can't do it in 30 days. People around here have been working for years building their businesses and failure means more than a lost week of fuel.

If you have $150 to spend then you are ahead of many persons. Here's what I would suggest you do:

1. You need to learn how to do proper market research and keyword research. You are going to promote a product as an affiliate and make a commission. So I recommend you find at least 30-40 keywords You said the bet ends on November 20th so you have some time on your hands!

2. After you do your keyword /market research, you will find a product that you can promote ro earn a commision. Product can be from clickbank, commission junction or even independent affiliate programs. You will need to spend about $10 and get a domain. Don't go for any free resources since you have some start up capital.

3. Next you need to sign up for an auto-responder service. About $17 - 19 per month. Some of the options are: aweber, getresponse, imnicamail.

4. From doing your market research, you should be able to find some common problems that your prospects are having. Look for 10 questions they may have and search for articles online that answer those questions. You can either rewrite these articles to make them unique or use them as is and keep the author resource box in tact.

Compile those 10 articles into a free book. Add your copyright info, disclaimer, table of contents etc to polish it up. Now give your ebook a catchy name. eg. The 10 Untold Secrets About ..... Finally Revealed. Just be creative.

5. Set up a simple squeeze page. Have a title: Free Reports Reveals etc etc. Add some bullets about some of the tips given in the report and have a call to action. ie. submit your name and email to get these secrets now before I start charging for them ....

Once they optin, send them to a confirmation page reminding them to confirm their email address. Nothing else should be on this page otherwise they may click away and never confirm their email address.

Now once they go to confirm, your confirmation link should be a link with your affiliate link to the product you are promoting. Simultaneously, the free report should be sent to their inbox.

6. Add about 1 month worth of auto-responder messages in your auto-responder. No need to bust your brains, there are ton of articles out there that you can rewrite and put your own touch to.

SO your sales funnel is up, the next step is traffic

You have already spent close to $30 so you have about $120 left.

** I would spend about $100 and get at least 20 of the articles done from the 40 keywords you have chosen. You can write the other 20 yourself.

** Submit each of those articles to the top 10 article directories with a link back to your squeeze page.

** Convert each of those articles to pdf and upload them to file sharing sites link scribid.

** Convert them to word doc and submit them to sites docstoc.

** Use a free video recorder like windows movie maker and narate the powerpoints, convert them to vidoes and submit them to video sharing sites like youtube et

This is just the tip of the iceberg but I can tell you that if you do the above properly and consistently, by the 20th of November you can make far more than double the amount of $150.

Too bad he said by the 20th of November, because if he gave you some extra time, I would recommend either Adsense or Amazon. Build a micro niche site, get it to make money, and in about three months, flip it. $150 is enough for a domain, 5 articles/reviews, and backlinks.

If you have 4 weeks for your bet, and your asking where to start, you need to be very lucky to make it.

My biggest tip to you is to invest in a mentor or coach. Find someone on here (on your thread) whose advice you like and convince them to mentor you and help you.

So far you have had tons of answers, but that will lead to information overload. Get yourself a mentor and you may Double Your Chances of success.

Luis, the easiest and fastest way I know how for you to make $300+ (to win your bet) is to pick up a professional Wordpress theme like Flexx for $79.95 (multi-use license) and then market to offline business owners. You should be able to sell at least ONE website per week at $99 (I'm really giving you lowball figures here just to show you how easy it'd be for you to meet the income goal for that bet of yours).... in about 3 weeks you'd have reached it!

Some of you may think this requires face to face contact, but this is absolutely NOT required! You can do this by marketing via Craigslist and telephone, at the $99 price point face to face contact is not needed.

Get hosting from hostgator - $25

Install wordpress and create a good landing page - $0

Go to clickbank and choose products that you know will convert - $0

Write high quality articles and submit to EZA - $0

Buy War Room membership - $37

Keep the balance so that you can have something to fall back to. And be patient because the success you are looking for will not be as magical as some people preach.

If you can write don't spend any of your money, just write one article charge 5 bucks for the article. You shouldn't have any trouble selling the article for 5 bucks. You didn't spend any money and you make 5 bucks so you win the bet.

Try selling on Bonanzle.com an auction site or Etsy...E-bay is too high priced these days........There's a lot of money being made on both Etsy and Bonanzle....just do some research and find a product to sell that's would be in high demand with no other sellers selling....with no competion you's own the market.... I've made $3500.00 in a week doing this and started with only $200.00....so I know it can be done.
My biggest month selling was $26,900....and out of that my profit was $12,000

While some of the ideas presented may be viable, the time constraint that you are under makes them risky at best. If you want the absolute easiest way to make $150 between now and then, offer your services on sites like odesk, elance, guru.com and here. You can do writing jobs, linkbuilding jobs, research jobs, VA work, etc... You can easily make that amount, and the income will be much more predictable than trying to turn a profit on a website in 27 days.

Well since you do not have a lot of time. I read this idea from another thread on this forum and it seems like a plausible thing you can do to make money in a relatively short amount of time.

If you do not know how to use wordpress yet, spend some time learning about editing themes and installing plugins and just get a good feel for wordpress. Then find a few free wordpress themes that you think are good.

Post an ad in craigslist offering a FREE wordpress website set up. Explain clearly that it is not a scam and it is a real offer. The only thing that is required is that the client has to sign up for a web host through your affiliate link. Since they need a webhost anyways they should have no problems doing so. I recommend using Hostgator since they give you at least $50 per referral even if your referral only spends a penny.

Then you show your client demos of the themes you have so that they can choose which one they want for their site. Once they purchase the hosting, just set up wordpress for them, install the theme, add content if they have some already made and voila.

Keep doing this until you have double your money and show it to your friend. Of course this is a short term money making project. But it has the potential to become a well established business if you want to take it further.

If you want to create a real business you need to create products in your niche this could be eBooks or short videos with your limited budget.

You will then need to create a squeeze page and get an auto-responder to collect people’s emails so you can build your list.

Give your product away for free and concentrate on list building, then go to click bank and find products that are related to your niche to email to your list once or twice a week.

By doing this you will make some money I personally would personally stay away from plr products and focus on giving good content to your subscribers.

The first thing I did was use the program from autochacha.com. It requires no IM skill, anyone can set it up. By the end of the first week you it should at least double your start-up money. You may not have internet marketing skill by the 20th, but you will have won the bet.

To answer your question I'd have to ask "what internet marketing skills do you have now?"

If you don't have any then something simple you could do would be to go to ebay and sell a pile of stuff.

Sell stuff for your neighbors, friends....anyone who'll let you.

Sell your own stuff.

You can use your $150 to cover the cost of the ebay ads and that should make you some money in a short period of time.

If you do have some internet marketing skill of some kind (like SEO, article marketing, ebay marketing, email marketing, online video creation and submission...basically putting a video on youtube, etc) then you could talk to some local business owners and offer to help their business by using your skill to bring them in more sales and profits.

Since your goal is really small it shouldn't be too hard to get a business owner to pay you $100 to $200 upfront for any service that looks like it will make them some money.
