I earned over $2000 in one week (No Sales Hype)

Hi All,

I put together this quick little report to illustrate one way I combined tangible freebies with digital products to generate business and profit. I used the butterfly marketing script and some overstock merchandise to turn a $147 investment into a few thousand dollars. This technique is nothing new but since I don't see it discussed much in this way, I thought I'd bring it up. It's earned me a nice little profit and can be used across many niches. But not for the faint of heart

Attachment 6060

The report is promotion free and attached to this posting. So no need to jump through hoops. Please enjoy!

BTW for those who do not have a copy of the butterfly script it can be found here http://butterflyopensourcecode.com/

Nicely done... The report was well put together with solid information and a good example of thinking outside the box. When most people decide to try their hand at internet marketing they seem to forget about offline marketing and combining both methods to compliment the process.

I just finished reading your report and it was excellent! Sometimes we forget how much the online and offline world are related. Your report illustrates very well how powerful the concept of using free tangible goods can be in closing the gap between the two entities to build an even more successful business.

Hey Liz, I just finished reading your report. Excellent tips in combining physical products with digital means.

Though I don't have 500 sets of ankle weights, you just gave me an idea of creating CDs maybe video or audio and using the method you've outlined.

    Thanks a bunch Liz.

Thanks, Liz. It is because of posts like this one that I come here.... Good, actionable information that can work in any niche.

I think we all forget that sometimes people like to see and feel a real product that motivates them to take action; even if it is a physical CD of a digital product.

And good advice on tieing in the freebie with a narrower market for a specific result; I have an idea that I am going to try using this....

      • My question is, do you feel like you provided something of value to the people who bought from you?

The reason that I am asking is that if I were to make a plan like that I would feel guity for selling people a PLR article, and prob. not go through with it.

Please understand that I am not trying to atack, but to learn. It is my mindset that is wrong and keeping me poor, and I want to learn more about your minds set so I can begin to practice a similar approach.

Thank you for all the info too, very informative and very well presented!

I can really relate to that....

You need to find a way to be comfortable with the value you're offering or this thinking will seriously affect the amount of money you make online.

This is why some people fail.

          Hi Trucker,

Of course I provided value, I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm a writer first by trade and passion. The PLR ebook (not report) was 'retooled' to fit the new market. What that means is I rewrote a standard "get fit" type ebook to focus on leg strengthening. I don't think anyone gets anything out of standard PLR you have to rework it. I'm sorry if I wasn't more clear about how the PLR was handled and you thought I just slapped a $30 price tag on some free reports and called it butter. No way. I use PLR like roux in gumbo, just enough to get you started.
          ++++++++++++++++++

Thanks to everyone, I'm glad you found the report useful. The WF has allowed me to combine my passion for writing into several income streams (ghostwriting, my own ebooks and consulting) and I'm happy to be able to give back.

Well you are an excelent writer (i am jelous) so I have no problem believing that you turned the PLR book in a much better product.

There is something wrong with attituede about money, because I find myself having to fight against feelings that "i am selling people crap that will not help them", "if I trullu cared I would give it to them for free", and " I am just manipulating people problems to get myself rich".

I know it is completely off the subject, but was hoping may be I can get some feedback. Plus I wanted to give this post a well deserved bump

Thanks for the compliment and the bump. . Your attitude about money isn't "wrong" but it's counterproductive to wealth. In my opinion I think the whole stay poor and humble is a ruse concocted by rich people to minimize the competition. There is nothing wrong with helping people and there is nothing wrong with making money (you have to eat right?).

If it helps you any, think about the things you use everyday. When you go to the grocery store do you think the grocer is thinking " I should be giving this food away, I'm just manipulating people's hunger to get rich?" Noway he's glad you're hungry because your hunger fills his belly.

You have to find a product that you feel good about selling because there is a lot of crap out there and there are a lot of people pushing it. So don't feel bad because you have a conscience. There are many good products to sell, maybe you would feel better selling tangible goods?

You hit the nail on the head there, Liz. As long as we have created a digital product of value that will benefit the buyer, we shouldn't harbor any guilt about selling it to them. Commerce is based on exchange of value, whether it is done over the internet or in person, so as long as we're providing value in our products and services, we are actually helping the economy move along - as it would stagnate and ultimately die if money didn't exchange hands.

The key takeaway I got from your report is the proper matching of the free giveaway physical product to your ebook offer. It was really ingenious of you to think of this, and I'm positive that the fact your freebie was a physical product enhanced its perceived value by a lot in your prospects' eyes.

    EXCELLENT JOB!!

just a thought how about if someone is going to do something similar and read your part about chargin shipping and handling well that would be the 5$ as in your second offer of the second pair for shipping so simply enitce them to buy the book and then price the book accordingly with the S&H factored in.

as far as where I am i have several different websites and all do some movement as I suffer from i guess its info overload but I actually put things into action and have so many that are physically going on 36 websites are hard to manage lol

hmmm maybe project managers that simply want an hours worth of work a day for a few $'s a day

    ok mind rambling sorry!

but in the end where is the best place in your opinion for plr material?
I usually just write it all out for things however i am at the point where rewriting wold be faster now as I understand what my difference in writing is compared to others

good day to all and super happy holidays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HoHoHo
    Tis the season
please everyone remember that there are kids that have no idea how to smile because they are never given the chance and sometimes that little kid that simply wants a candy bar can have his day made by getting it for him or that other child that only wants a toy car or a little doll what are they really asking? To Smile of course
    how much is that $5-$10

for those that actually feel privilaged enough to be able to make an income that others are asking for how about helping someone out and simply giving a gift of
REAL VALUE GIVE THE GIFT OF A SMILE TO A CHILD

This is undoubtably one of the best reports I've stumbled across in awhile. Giving away tangible products is such a simple idea, but is clearly so effective! I also have to praise how well-written the report is, especially after seeing so many reports nowadays that look like they were slapped together in 10 minutes and were never spellchecked or proofread before distributing.

Thanks for offering this strategy in such a clear, detailed way; it's excellent information and I'm hoping to put it to good use.

Nice report and this is something I have been thinking about for a while. I was doing the free plus shipping cd but it wasn't working so well. I was planning on sourcing some cheap physical items to do with my niche and putting ads in local rags etc - there are plenty of bargains to be found on eBay.

As you said though, I would definitely charge some S&H for the original freebie. Even if it's only a dollar. This is not only to help cover your costs (especially when you are only testing things out and not sure what will happen) but also to stop people from ordering additional freebies from you.

One company did this same thing with phone cases on Facebook. They advertised cases for only 99 cents. The catch was you had to pay $3.99 shipping and handling - but from the comments I saw, everyone still thought they were getting a great deal.

I looked on eBay and found the exact same cases selling for only $1.47 - and that included shipping to anywhere worldwide. So little did the customers know they could have bought the exact same case on ebay and saved themselves a few dollars - but here they were thinking they were getting a great bargain.

And the guys selling them would have made profit just on the free cases by themselves - let alone any upsells or future sales. I heard they had done over $5 million or something ridiculous using this technique.
