Google Place Pages: Try this technique to get ranked on awesome keywords

I want to get some feedback on a technique I'm developing to get some sneaky first page keywords wrapped up for some of my clients. I recently found out about Google Place pages. These pages are designed to map a particular address and give as much information about this place as possible. I have found that there are several great ways to get a Place Page dedicated to a particular customer's website that will allow my client to get ranked on the first page, first spot on Google for the keywords i want to get ranked on. I add as much information as possible over several mediums to try and help it get ranked quicker. I am wondering if anyone else has gotten any success out of this method. I got one ranked for Branson Coupons which is a huge keyword for my client. Let me know what you guys think. This may be a terrible thing to do, i just honestly don't know and want to get some pro's opinions. Seems to work so far though. Thanks for the help.
