Hello to All WF members,

I'm from France & I'm reading about AM for a long time now. I wanted to try to get a little revenue on the internet (my goal is not to earn tons of $ ).

So... I wanted to know if some people are experienced with French affiliate marketing and where to start as there are not as much product in France than in US.

See you
Nedie

Hi Nedie - there are a few Warriors who live in France and they'll be able to give you some input.

I visit France at least once a year and I would love insider information - ie, the best restaurants to get the most out of my Euros, generally unknown places to vist etc etc It looks as if the Pound is sliding pretty badly against the Euro and so we need as much info to save cash as possible!

I would also create a line of these products for the English (and other European countries) market.

Hint - if you want to get a start, I would buy guides for Brittany and the Vendee LOL!

    Kevin

    Hello Kevin Brach,

and thank you for replying so fast. Nice to see you visited country last year (always a nice thing to see foreign people here). It's sure that's the pound is not in a really good position face to euro.

I wanted to write some ebooks concerning foreign people to visit France. I haven't got really good skills at writting that's why I did not choose to do this.

What are you meaning by "line of these products for the English" which seems interesting.

    Thanks for all
    Nedie

      Hi again

What I meant was that a lot of info products can be used by the same customer. So, instead of a product about the Vendee in general, you could have smaller guides about things like "Family Days out in the Vendee", "Vendeean Wines" etc etc

Then your customers are likely to buy more products from you.

      Hope this helps?

      Kevin

I never thaught about french wines. That's a pretty good idea as french wines are very known around the world. I will have to search for an affiliate program which sells wines.

    Thanks for pointing this out.

The color of the caps depends of the "appelation of the wine" like AOC.

Blue = country & table wines
Green = VDQS & AOC wines

    • R for Récoltant = the one who harvest the grape
    • N for Non Récoltant or Négociant = the one who sell the wine
    • E for Éleveur = the one who plant the wine if different

Thanks for the wine info - I was struggling with that.

So is Récoltant with a green cap the best wine?

    Can you get PMs yet?

    Hello TPFlegionaire,

Thanks for your proposition but I won't go in the wine business as I haven't got enough experience in this domain as wine need to have a big vocabulary.

    Nevertheless thank you.

    Hi Nedie,

Presumably you mean affiliate programmes in the French language?

I live in France (also an Ex Manc, Kevin :p) and I can't say that I have ever come across any in French.

All my affiliate marketing is directed to English speaking countries and any other marketing is directed at the USA markets. Really I would'nt have thought it mattered from your point of view as you just get the orders, so to speak, and others supply the goods whether physical from the likes of Amazon or electronic delivery from such as Clickbank.

    Hello Pluton

and thanks for reading me. What I wanted to know is if someone already tried french market.
I want to earn money with affiliate marketing in France because there is something to be done there.
Also I don't know what French people are interested in so I wanted to have some hint.

Nedie, I have never had any experience with the French market. Have you had a look on Google.fr for 'French Affiliate' programmes? I've just had a look and there does appear to be quite a few - problem is I don't have a huge French vocabulary and I find it difficult to understand the search results.
You should have a better idea than most regarding the interests of your own country.
Sorry I can't help more than this - I think I'd go for the bigger market outside of France unless you can come up with some French niches.
      Best of luck.
