43% In Opt Ins With One Small Change!

Hi Fellow Warriors

We all love increased optins on our squeeze pages. The addition of a moving red downwards arrow towards my optin box led to a 43% increase in optins.

Just thought I would share.

    Awesome, congratulations!

    Now try testing with a subliminal arrow (almost the same color as the background but just a bit different) like a light grey on a white background.

    One is really in your face, the other is the opposite - see which works better for your market.

    Thats brilliant well done A softer colour usually works better as the arrows look less spammy to the customer.

    I would suggest trying to tone it down a little to a lighter colour like grey and see what happens.

    The red arrow pointing towards your opt-in form increases your opt-in rate because you're creating visual stimulation on the page. Visual cues like arrows or the word 'sale' alert people to a call-to-action, so while your subscriber rate is up 43% it's important not to take your change literally. Because if you use the color red elsewhere on your squeeze page it could be less visually stimulating as opposed to a unique color choice.
