INTERNET MARKETING

Hi

I have been in the content writing business for over 2 years now and am doing reasonably well.

However I don't have any idea how to make serious amount of money through affiliate marketing, google adsense, internet marketing, blogging etc.

I would like to know which ebooks/websites (preferably free) can I use to at least start making $1000+ per month and then of course I can go in for paid sources as well to grow.

How should I start?

You have been here for at least a year now so I think you should have known that making $1000 monthly does not come cheap. And being a War Room member is another reason why you should know that there's NO FREE way to start making $1k monthly.

Maybe I'm missing something.

You can get by with just purchasing a domain and having it redirected to an affiliate site. Now a domain you can get for .99cents so no it is not free. However even a bum living under a bridge can afford to buy a domain. A domain is all you really need to make money. Yes it is harder to do so but it is all that is really needed. I have seen many of your post bro and almost all of them are negitive in some way shape or form. I just have to ask what is the deal man. Whats with the attitude all the time.

You have not seen any of my posts if you are saying that most of them are negative somehow. I'm not a 'negative-minded' person at all but I like painting the picture the way it is IMHO.

Take my one post for brainstorming with the community to come up with a domain. You came in there not contributing at all but saying we are wrong for asking for a little motivation. You also posted that I was wrong for adding my already thought up domains to the forum. I can use them all if it helps someone comeup with a good strategy to use them then good. I helped that person come up with something they could use.

OP, if you know how to write web content, why don't you mimic what people have been doing with success?

You know the content part, now you need a plan, a market, a domain name, and content + links.

Please, keep it simple:

Low competition market
Keyworded domain name
Content
Links

This is the web, not rocket science.

  Try talking to some of your best customers. I learned a ton about marketing from working with my most successful clients. By asking them questions and seeing how they were using the content I produced, I learned so much about what works and what doesn't.
  
  If you want to go further than simply writing for marketers, get to know them better and learn what the successful people are doing.

Article marketing is probable your best bet, below I am going to lay down a quick and simple strategy that should help you get started.

Free Websites/Pages

I have found that HubPages rank well, so you could use that as your free website, I have had a Hub rank on the bottom of the first page of Google for a weight loss term that gets 2900 Exact searches in the US in 3 days with around 60 backlinks.

If you can, have a call to action that links to the product after the opening paragraph in H2 tags so it stands out more and one at the end of the article.

Keyword Research

Find keywords where people are looking for solutions to problems e.g. ‘cure toenail fungus’ or product names e.g. ‘Sony Walkman NWZX1051FBLK 16 GB’

Make a big list of keywords that fit this criteria.

Some people recommend finding keywords that get a 100 or so searches a month, however, the minimum I aim for is 2000 exact US searches, you will have to use your own judgement on this.

Check Competition

When analyzing competition I only check out the top 3 listings. Look at their on page SEO, is the keyword in the Meta title, Meta description, H1 tag and see if they mention the keyword in the body, you can check the keyword density, but personally I don’t bother.

When analyzing backlinks obviously check how many they have, how many are from unique domains, some people have 5000 backlinks but they are only form 20 unique domains, so the 5000 isn’t a true reflection if you know what I mean.

Also check the PR of the actual page the backlinks are on, if the backlinks are on many high PR pages its going to be hard to beat. Also check the Anchor text they are using, if they are using the keyword you are targeting then you know their not there by accident.

Putting it All Together

Create and article that makes the reader want to solve their problem today or a product review.

Backlink the article using other free web 2.0 and article directories, this should get you around 30+ backlinks. If you do have some cash to spend, join a backlink service such as Build My Rank.

Be consistent with your backlinking, some articles will rank quite quick some will take time. And expect frustration, plenty of trial and error until you perfect a system.
