I would like to get my 15 y.o. son into IM.

Would he have to get a student account due to age?

Can you market and sell (like buy now buttons) with a student account?

    Yes, as I understand the Paypal terms, student accounts are provided with the parent or guardian as backup on the account. That way the account is associated with someone of legal age to enter into a contract.
