Ok so I've never used a wp theme but I was wondering if you NEED to use wordpress to use the themes, or can I just use it on my normal hosting account?

You can have wordpress on your normal hosting account and use the theme on your own wordpress install.

    Hi Thomas,

Assuming the theme's license allows for it, there's no technical reason you couldn't transform a WP theme into a regular site template.

However, you would have to piece it back together. Any WP theme is the sum of a few parts (header.php, footer.php, sidebar.php... maybe more) It may actully be easiest to use WP to load the theme, view the page, then copy the HTML source of the completed page.

Then you could replace the content area with your own stuff.

Hope that makes sense. Let me know if I need to elaborate.
