Best way to advertise "Big Ticket?"

Just wondering... Where would be the best place to start advertising a big ticket program?

I'm looking to spend a few hundred bucks... I was considering solo ads or the like...

Also, should I lead with my own squeeze page, or the company replicated?

Thanks

  • Brian, You might want to consider voice broadcasts, post cards, and e mail marketing.
I just started something absolutely awesome!!! let me know if you want me to share it with you. Cheers! Joseph McDevitt
  • Do you collect the emails from the company generated page? If not, then I would go with your own very simple squeeze page that allows you to grab the email, sned tehma freebies and then sends them in.

I would target your audience very tightly and place a solo ad where they are.

    • Webinars hands down. Build a list in that particular niche, and build a relationship with them via email marketing (skip this step if you already have a list in this niche or if you want to get JV parners) then send them an email promoting the webinar you're doing. Make sure you script the entire webinar, for yourself and your JV partner. Make sure it's a good product you're promoting and make sure that you provide some good value to the people on the webinar outside of just a sales pitch.

I've had as high as 35-40% conversion rate on a $2000 product using this strategy.
  • I also agree with webinars and email marketing. Just make sure to get a good webinar service provider to ensure that it will work properly.
  • Thanks everyone... The system has it's own popular webinar. Should I use that one? I feel like I'm blending in by sending people straigt to that page. However, I don't want to be redundant by doing a webinar about a webinar :s I want to lead with myself without taking away from the original webinar.

    • What do you mean by popular webinar? How do you define popular? lots of people like it or you make lots of money from it?

You need to establish what your goal of the webinar is. Is it to please everyone? is it to make money? When i run my high end webinars, I always provide some good free content but then I highlight the benefit of the paid product I'm selling. But at the end of the day the reason I'm holding that webinar is to sell a product not please everyone in the room (although majority of people are always stil thrilled with the content they get on my pitch webinars). It's about finding a balance.

I don't know exactly what you mean about doing a webinar about a webinar...but lets say you're product is a new webinar service that is really high end and doesn't drop callsl *COUGH* go to webinar *COUGH* alright so who is your target market? I'd be in your target market...a lot of other marketers who are product owners or even affiliates would be in your target market (then you'd also have an entire other target market I'd assume small-mid sized businesses who sell to their customers), part of the call might be highlighting the benefits of using webinars to sell products (your own or affiliates) so you'd sell them on the results you've seen on using webinars to sell products versus other methods like in person (pro is it is very intimate but their is a lot of work associated with in person selling, you need to sell people individually where as in webinar setting you sell in group) , email (low response rate, lots of competition) ppc (a lot of people lose money) ect ect, then you'd go over you know how easy your webinar system makes it..the benefits , usp whatever it happens to be, and hopefully by the end of the call you've sold people on both the concept of webinars being a good way to sell things and your webinar system. If people don't buy then they still feel satisfied that they learned about this cool way to sell things , if they do buy then they're probably jumping off their seat with excitement about the information they just learned AND your system to implement the info

This is obviously just an example but you get the idea.

Not sure what you mean by blending in either?

  • Hi thanks for the reply... The system I'm referring to is the Secret Formula Webinar ( also Secret Formula Teleseminar ) be Rod Stinson. The system has a pre recorded webinar that includes every possible detail of the system with bonuses and everything explained. So If I'm trying to get possible prospects to the webinar, would a simple squeeze page do the trick?

But then here's the question? I'm wondering the best way to advertise it (like ppc, solo ads, ezine, etc..)

I'm pretty new to the IM scene and I'm not sure what the best way is... (without spending a fortune)

I want to drive tons of traffic there (either squeeze pg. or webinar page) so I get results.

    Thanks!

    • Hello, Brian, I have Rod's program too. I was just wondering if you've found what works for you at all? Have you tried the dial and ditch'em technique that he talks about?
Have you made any money since joining?
Thanks for reading this --it's hard to stay motivated and it's nice to hear about what's working for other people,

      take care,
