Advice on communication strategy needed!

I am planning to start an online business together with my boyfriend. The idea is that we create e-books, software tools, videos etc... for certain niche markets.
Our question now is how we should communicate to the market and our subscribers/customers: As individuals or as a team?
E.g.
when we sent out newsletters (who will be the sender?)
when we create a blog or website (most marketers use www-firstnamelastname-com, but in our case?)
when we set up an account on facebook, twitter etc., (one account per person or one team account with a fancy name?)
If we present ourselves as a team then it becomes less personal. If we present ourselves as individuals it comes complicated.
