Can't think of a niche for love or money!?

I'm 17 and recently working for a company doing SEO. I managed to get them to page one of google for a competitive keyword in 2 weeks and got paid well for it. I have been wanting to start an online business as I know all about SEO, websites and marketing but I cannot think of a niche and hence a product to make or distribute which is really annoying me. I think if I can think of one I will be able to make a lot of money but I just cannot get started. Any ideas are welcome.

    Love:

    Get Your Ex Back
    Dating
    How to Get Laid
    How to fall in love
    etc.

    Money:

    Make money in real estate
    Make money in forex
    Make money in Internet Marketing
Make money running a car wash
    etc.

EDIT: The above given niche markets are pure examples to help you get started thinking in the right direction. Do you own research first.

Thinking he meant that even if it gained him love or promised him money he still can't think of a niche (ain't slang great??)

There are many on here that believe (and I am of the same mind set) that one of the best ways to make money on line is by teaching others to make money on line. What about putting together a video package walking newcomers to IM through website creation and some unique SEO techniques? Putting together a news letter with free and useful information as a bonus... build from there.

    Go with what you know!

And yeah "tryinhere" I have made a bit from doing this but I want to start my own product with a website for a specific niche and then I can use email marketing, aweber, CPA offers and all that. But I cannot get the initally idea for "love or money" Thanks for your answer though its really good

Well i am confused you have a heap of hub pages all promoting and reporting great stuff. (12 in total)

2 of the pages claim they are your first click bank sales / the only thing is they are different days for different amounts. With stuff like that i would be confused as well.

I'm sure you will work out what you need to be doing soon enough.

Think about what you like, what you're interested in, what you're passionate about. Since you've already got some SEO success under your belt, you know that it takes alot of work and time to get the results you want. That being said, you need to find a niche that isn't going to bore you - even after spending months doing research, designing a site, writing content, and promoting the heck out of it.

Once you figure out a niche, THEN go look for products that you believe in, and that you feel confident about promoting to other people.

If you're bored with what you're doing, or you just don't really think the products are that great, people will notice.

Slang or not, "love" and "money" are both good starting points. At 17, it's likely you just don't have the life experience to connect with a lot of your potential customers in those markets.

So start with a list of the things you are really good at. Since you "know all about SEO", that's the seed for your list. Are there any other tech things you excel at? How about sports, games, hobbies? There's money to be made in all of those.

If you can't find one idea you like after all that, think about picking something to use as a laboratory exercise. Pick a niche you have some interest in, but you won't be heartbroken if you screw it up. Do it under a pen name, even.

Just get moving. Paralysis is not a good thing.

It seems pretty obvious to me. The make money online niche. You already know about SEO, marketing, how to build web pages, etc.

It's best (in my opinion) to start with what you're good at and teach others how to do the same.

If it were me I would stay away from something you are passionate about UNLESS it is a niche that people are spending money in. I know some people vehemently disagree with this and say 'find a niche you are passionate about' but if it isn't popular then you will have trouble making sales even if you are the biggest fish in the pond. It sounds like your skills ARE in a profitable market so I echo those that said it'd probably be your best bet.

If you don't know what niches people are spending money in, they are hiding in plain sight. Go to google trends, or top viewed on EzineArticles, or monitor these forums and see what people are asking for. It really is that easy, don't spend too much time looking for the 'perfect' niche.

It's competitive, but most of the competitor's don't last long. Do not enter into a niche with little to no competition. If people aren't selling it, that means that it doesn't sell!

Start browsing categories in ebay or Amazon.com. This should get your juices flowing. There are literally thousands of niches represented there. Find something that looks interesting, check the keyword competition, make sure there is money to be made in the market, and go for it...best of luck!

Here's a product idea for you:

"How I took a company's site to page one of Google inside 2 weeks, and got paid very well for doing it."

    I might buy that.
