MaxBlogPress offers a free plug-in that allows you to easily manage banner ads.

    Here is the link...

The max banner ads is a good one or if you don't mind getting your hands 'dirty', you can manually add the code in the theme editor.

If you do, be sure to back up your files first, in case you make a mistake.

    Thanks,

I simply add the plug-in "text" and then you can add what ever by simply putting in the HTML code...

You can see an example of my sidebar on one of my BLOGs here.

I'm headed over to look at MaxBlogPress to look at Shannon's Recommendation..

That looks great. I get 42 pages for the search text in Wordpress plugins. Would you please post a link?

      Thank you,

I presume you are using Wordpress? If you are, under "Design" you can click widgets, then you can add or remove widgets from your sidebar. Add a text widget and cut and paste the code for the banner. If you want something that can handle rotating multiple banners and tracking clickthroughs, search for "adserve" in the wordpress plugin directory.

Steve, Proapc is referring to the 'text widget' in the Wordpress Design section that Kyle mentioned in reply #5.
