So what's the best clickbank alternative?

Commission Junction? Anything else? I had great success with Clickbank a few months a go, got sidetracked with other things, and as soon as I decide to try some affiliate marketing again...I see that a lot of people I really respect are saying that Clickbank has real problems.

is there any other site that is as good as they used to be?

there's PayDotCom. It's the closest thing to CB as far as the products that are being sold, etc.

But CB is still the best IMHO.

There has to be an alternative. What about click2sell.com? Does anyone have any experience with them? Please share.

Okay, what about non digital alternatives? Commission Junction? I really wish Clickbank would figure out what's wrong - when I tried it a few months ago it was SO easy.

Commission Junction is really cool. They give you stats of selling for every 100 visitors.

I'll have to try some of those alternatives. CJ sounds promising.

CJ is generally good, but they do have one big annoying factor. You apply for each merchant individually. While some are pretty much an automatic approval, some will go to your website and make sure you've "got what it takes" to be an affiliate of theirs.

In other words, if you don't already have a good site in their niche, you may need to exchange some emails and explain what your promotional plans for their product(s) are. This makes it a little tough to move into a new niche without delay...

Well, that is kind of a turnoff, I have to admit. I don't actually want to have to beg to promote someone's product.

    Hello,

Depending on what you want to sell there is an affiliate for most anything.

If you want, try to look for a product instead of an affiliate directory. The site usually has some way of joining their affiliate program. These days everybody has an affiliate program.

You can also try clixgalore, saleshare, or clickbooth.

They are okay affiliate program directories for real products, not info.

    Thank You,

With digital products and IM products Clickbank clearly leads the market.

While you can look for alternatives you should also keep an eye on cb to be ready when they get their problems sorted.

There's TONS of alternatives to Clickbank. They may be
the single biggest affiliate network for digital products,
but why not put your digital products on more than one
    Affiliate network?

Clixgalore, Clickbooth ($10k deposit tho), RocketROI,
cpaWarehouse... on and on and on.

There's actually a lot of digital products on these other
affiliate networks. Join as an affiliate and take a look at
    the offers.

    Here's a couple of lists:

    Cumbrowski

    or

    Affiliate networks list

Clickbank isn't the only game in town. They're just the
most widely known affiliate network for digital products.
In reality, there's a TON more networks that allow digital
goods and they have a lot of good affiliates that promote
    them.

And, a lot of them are free to join as a Merchant with a
small fee which is a % of what the affiliate's earn.

Be careful of some of the bigger networks. They're awfully
expensive for most beginners and some require thet
    you use them exclusively.

    DIVERSIFY!

Just a quick follow up for those that may not know...

Theoretically you can list your info-product on every
single affiliate network out there. It's just a matter of
adding all the tracking codes to your receipt page and
housing all the creative tools and stuff in one location
      for affiliates to find easily.

    Besides ClickBank, I use:

    eSellerate Affiliates Home
    and
RegNow.com - Sell Software Online - Electronic Software & Shareware Marketing & Distribution

Both have ways for the sellers to put demos that give credit. Esellerate also lets you put the order buttons on YOUR pages and it gives credit. No cookies to worry about.

Have a look at Affiliate Network | Affiliate Programs | Affiliate Marketing - PayAff
They use cookies AND IP tracking incase the cookies are destroyed. Pretty clever affiliate system. Not to many offers yet, but there no costs to join or promote!

CPA networks rock... like HydraNetwork.com and MaxBounty...

I also really like Linkshare. Much nicer interface than CJ, better companies to promote, and more versatile.
