Hey Warriors-
Tim Ferriss is talking on his blog about where most of his money comes from. He has a video up on his blog now speaking about it. Towards the end minute 24 he says he makes a full-time income on amazon among the other things he does. I always love reading his blog- he has some of the most useful information.

Here's the link to the video: The Blog of Author Tim Ferriss

I'd sure like to read his new book it sounds like just what I'm looking for:
" The 4-Hour Body: An Uncommon Guide to Rapid Fat-Loss, Incredible Sex, and Becoming Superhuman" ;-)

you must need to do a large volume of traffic to succeed with amazon, i just heard their affiliate program was horrible, atleast you're not limited to digital products tho.

I haven't promoted for amazon yet but from the threads I have read on warrior forum they convert better and if you promote higher end items you can make good profit.

      1. Traffic converts much better for Amazon than for digital products

      2. Naturally traffic volume is higher for physical products than for digital products.

      Think about this:

There are over 11 million products in Amazon's Home & Garden department alone.

Amazon sales in 2009: Over 24 Billion dollars

      Just some food for thought....

amazon is great...especially if you are the product owner like he is. It also helps a lot if you already have a following. The guy is a marketing genius.

Definitely going to buy his next book as well.

Of Course That Too! He also puts affiliate links throughout his blog that he says is a full time income just by itself. Though he gets a ton of traffic and a ton of followers and probably half of everyone who follows him tries or does what he says.

There is a well-known marketer who only offers his non-make money online market list offers from Amazon. If you're on his list in that particular niche, that's all you get, Amazon reviews and offers.

I wish I could make money with Amazon.. My only attempt with Amazon was during the last christmas (Yeah I was trying to make some quick bucks with Amazon).. The conversion rate sucked.. The CTR on my PPC campaigns was awesome but somehow the visitors did not convert even when the keywords were super targetted "buy keywords".

Interesting video, even if he only talking about Amazon for less than 45 seconds in more than 30 minutes...

I found the conversation about getting blogger reviews much more useful...

Best to set up long term free traffic funnels with amazon.

It's slower and you have to make up for the lack of instant traffic with the volume of content you put out, but it can be worth it for some!

He says he has written 300 "evergreen posts" on his blog which provide him with full-time income from amazon. He has a big prominent ad about "debt problems" on his home page and on all his post pages, it looks like he is targeting this.
