Hi Warriors...
Just wondering what's the best way to divide your content up when launching a new site to get the traffic going...

Eg
What % of your content should you:
a) post on your website
b) post on Ezine Articles
c) other article directories

Any thoughts?

    a) 100%
    b) Any of it that will pass EZA Editorial Guidelines (e.g., not overly promotional)
    c) same as B with other sites' guidelines

I'm not sure you should be "dividing" content between the various selections you indicated.

From the perspective of SEO, you should be featuring the same keywords on all of the above, so to speak.

First, you want to have real content on your website (blog). Don't forget to have an advertisement on your blog (sidebar) that links into your newsletter sequence, with similar or the same freebie offer as your off[site promotional activities. You don't want to lose the opportunity to capture a random visitor (to your blog) as a potential subscriber.

Second, you want to submit the same sort of content, based on the same keywords to EZA, and of course, providing the all important backlink to your squeeze page in your bio box. I've found it easier in my sequence to submit first to EZA, then post simillar article on my blog a day or so after approval. Whichever timing you prefer, make sure each article is unique and original. Duplicate content is a problem in either sequence. If you post to your blog first, and EZA thinks your article is too close, they won't approve it. If you submit EZA first and then post a too similar blog post, then the search engines see it as possibly duplicate content, and you don't get the higher ranking you deserve. Don't use "spinning" software, it doesn't work as well as the promoters would suggest. I've found that I can write at least four different and unique articles on the same subject in about the same time it took for me to enter all of the permutations that a typical spinning software needs, and the articles are coherent and continue to display my unique voice.

As the number of submission sites increases, you may find your confidence and speed increases as well. Sometimes, it is better to put the alternate versions of your articles into other places (such as a Weebly blog or Squidoo lens, for instance) than submitting to the less popular article directories. Yes, you should always keep EZA in your efforts, and unless someone else eclipses their authority, they will likely be the site to submit to for some time to come.

So, as you can see from above, my advise isn't to divide content, but to write similar but unique articles on each topic and submit them to each of your favorite sites. I think you will get a better response and higher overal revenue from the same effort, and, as a byproduct, you won't have to generate as many topics over the same time frame.

Threads asking how to do Article Marketing come up quite often here - so I have a standard reply - I hope this helps:

Two brilliant threads to read about article marketing are these:

    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...eza-first.html

Read them both - all the way through - and take notes.

For further information I recommend the following directory - It is education in article marketing - a guide book and monthly newsletters - with a directory thrown in! You can read what Warriors think about it here:
