Did TubeMogul Change From Free To Paid?

Hi Warriors,
I haven't logged into my TubeMogul account for awhile now and just tried and it said my account was closed because I broke there TOS for posting a commercial video. It looks like there $50 a month for business related video's. I was wondering if it has always been this way or if It changed?

Also could you recommend any other video submission sites? I know about Traffic Gyser and I think I will go check them out again now.

Thanks.

~Michael

No tube mongul is still a free service. I know every now and again certain sites like dailymotion drop my videos because I always add the link info to the video. But other then that it is still free. I would recommend traffic gyser though I have used them and it it well worth it in the long run. You get a whole lot more exposer and you can build your videos directly in there with a few slides. They even have a number you can call if you do not have a mic so you can add a voice over to the video. I havent used them in a few years though but I know it took awhile to create all of the accounts. But there are a ton of accounts you will get to create.

Hey -- Well, Tube mogul is not free... My account was just disabled this evening for posting what they call 'commercial content' and thus violating their terms of service. Funny thing is the video account I created was solely for 2 videos as a favor to a friend who runs a NON PROFIT! No money being asked for, nothing being sold... They closed my account because it was commercial?... nothing commercial about it.. wow.
The free account might be only for goofy, home videos ....

Do you know of any other way to distribute videos that isn't as expensive as Traffic Geyser? I just can't believe it. TubeMogul used to be so cool.

I just used it, it is still free. Do have to be careful not to have your videos full of advertising. I got my video banned by a few of them, because it had my product showing in too many pages! Just showing it in the end didn't seem to bother them!

Well, I had zero advertising .. there was NO promotion whatsoever. What I did do though, that may have brought undue attention to me, was apply for the keys to use the 7 or so *other* video sites they submit to other than their standard Youtube, bliptv, metacafe and dailymotion. After they reviewed my account with a total of 2 videos (like I said, these were NOT promotional in any way! ), they disabled me.

Tube mogul screens the submissions trying to limit advertising or commercial based content.

They need to keep the quality of the content being submitted through their system up so that they can protect the relationships they have with the various video sharing sites who supply them data for stats.

If you were suspended for commercial content then they apparently felt that the content you submitted was too commercial and not in line with the quality standards that they set.

TubeMogul is NOT a good advertising or even a business video distribution channel because they specifically want to avoid this type of content. You may want to check out other options like HeySpread instead.

Yes.. i need to find a better option for video distribution fo' sho! Until then, I will manually submit ... ugh.

Out of curiousity, what do you use Tube Mogul for? I mean what kind of content? I am just curious what non-commercial content means to them.

Honestly, PixelPipe is where it's at lol.

I use it myself and get awesome results from it. I actually started using it over TrafficGeyser and Tubemogul.

Another one to check out for syndication is Magic Submitter. Just found that and I'm currently in the trial month, but it seems really helpful.

      Thought I'd share
