Disagree completely. In my experience the more competition, the more profitable. Especially niches that have to do with core human wants/desires:

      - Make money (internet, real estate, stocks/forex, etc.)
      - Save money
      - Find love
      - Look better
      - Feel better

It's true there is massive competition in these niches. But there's also massive traffic and demand. You only need a small sliver of the pie to do very, very well.

You want the simplest way to learn about proven niches and products? Go to Clickbank.com and search the marketplace for the top 10 products in each category. Bam. Anyone who wants to know what is proven and what works, it's right there for you to see.

      Best regards,
      Ken

        Allure -

This is question that nobody can really give you a 100% straight answer to. Even if someone had a hot seller which I know most of us here do, they aren't just going to up and tell you. You need to do the hard work and research on your own.

There are literally TONS of profitable niches out there. I've even found out that sometimes even if I think a niche is not going to be profitable, it ends being a hot-selling niche. I've experienced this personally as well as seen it happen to others countless times.

With that being said, there are certain key points that you should be looking for when doing your niche research. The most important thing you want to look out for is if there are problems in your chosen niche that need answers(there almost always is), and if people within this niche will pay money for these answers. Then, all you have to do is find a good product and give it your niche. It's really that simple.

You've got to realize that Internet Marketing is dependent on "The Long Tail." I read that at any given time 1 in 4 people is on a diet. Think there's a market there? You don't need a huge fraction of the market to make money. You just need a few people. If you sell 1,000 reports at $17, you've made $17,000. 1000 people is minute considering the number of people dieting at any given time. So, follow the niches where there is competition. Develop a good entry level product and then backend it.

Looking for the elusive "undiscovered niche" will cost you time and money.

      Porn!

      It's the most universal need...

Everyone pays for it, even the people that lie and say that they don't.

The way porn sites run their continuity programs is a work of art.

Nothing will ever come close to the Porn niche in terms of profitability.
