Im a newbie as you may see from this silly question. I also joined the war room yesterday WHOOP WHOO. Ok im building my blog with word press and every time i make a post it comes up on my home page. Its starting to look at bit untidy. I was wondering if there was another way to change my home page so it only showed one article at a time. i wanted to put differnet articles in different catagories so it looks nice and neat. Im doing a muscle building website and i want to add different catogories like "Arms routines, Burn fat, Sixpack abbs, Protien supplments etc etc.) Hope this makes sence and someone has a solution thank you in advance.

Thanks

There's a setting for choosing what comes up on the main page. Just make it a 'page' and link to what you want from there.

The alternative is to change the setting for how many posts show on the home page. The default setting is 10, I believe. If you only want the most recent post to show, change that to 1.

With most templates you can embed code to display your banner onto a page or a "text area". I often use text areas to put my own banners up!

Hi - are you talking about the header or are you trying to add a banner to your posts, and which theme are you using?

      Tks Donna

Host the banners somewhere. Grab the necessary HTML code and embed into your post or page making sure you're using the HTML editor.

Sure, just open (in edit) the post or page that you want to insert the banner into, make sure you are in HTML mode. Copy and paste the code wherever on the post you would like it to appear.

if you want to put the banner onto a side bar, you can add a text box. Open the text box and paste the html code there.

      Hope that helps!
