    I know someone who does VERY well advertising on homeworking sites/forums/blogs.

    People who frequent these sites are obviously open to this kind of thing, and are looking for ways to make money.

    You just need to tailor your message correctly.

    The best place to advertise is in targeted inboxes.

    If you've got a good product, find affiliates and JV's (in related niches) who will mail for it.

    There is no higher traffic form than endorsed traffic.

    I'd avoid the Black Hat type sites, as they often have links where you can steal people's content... it's not really the place people go to take out their credit card :O
