I just thought of this, but is it possible to buy a product from clickbank with your own HOP ID to get essentially a 60% discount?

I think it's possible, but it's also against their TOS, so you'd be risking losing your account there.

Other than that (frankly I believe it's a remote event) in order to pay you you have to have at least 3 sales from 3 different credit cards (Paypal sales don't count). So if you just think of becoming affiliate to get products at a discount you will never get the discount, you have to make some real affiliate sales.

I can't find this anywhere in their policies, Ken. Where do you see it?

I was just about to edit my post -- I typed too quickly, apparently it's actually Amazon that won't let you buy with your own link. You can with CB, but as Marco said above, they require you to have orders from different sources, so they know that buying discounted products isn't the only thing you're using your account for.

As far as I know it's actually 6 different orders from 6 different credit cards now to stop people buying through their own link. Also it doesnt count if the people pay by paypal.

This has been an ongoing debate for years and years.

The opinion swings back and forth from right and wrong in cycles.

Anyway, it's very possible and done all the time.

Many if not most CB buyers and sellers should have enough unique sales to do it and get the "discount."

Another variation of this is to buy through your wife's or kid's CB account.
