Hi

I'm looking for a source where I can buy electronic goods online.

I posted on alibaba dotcom and a guy replied me with his selling list

Cheers,

Nicolas

You certainly can't find anything in an email to prove you're dealing with a real business.

Does he have a web site= An address? A registered company? Existing customers? Maybe make a small order first and see what happens.

      Nicholas,

Not everybody who sells physical products on the internet is a scam artist.

This person says they are a TrustPass member of alibaba and so you should verify if that is true if you want to do business with them.

As Ralf said, try a small order out at first to see how it all works out.

It looks legit to me, and I regularly buy from vendors who couldn't put a website up to save their life.

Don't confuse a slick marketing ability with the talent to have a real offline business. Even though we are almost into 2009 the majority of physical product vendors are somewhat clueless about the internet.
