A Plan For Newbies
I have been at the IM game now for a little over 2 years now and I know it can be very confusing for people just starting out.
I made my first dollars online by promoting adult webcams and dating sites by setting up free sites on 110mb.com and thumblogger.com and posting ads on free classified sites and using an auto-response on an email account with my link going out in each message to each person who responded and wrote.
Some people might not feel comfortable doing that, so I will recommend another option. Use the search function on this forum and look for :

Use PLR articles that you already have and get busy. If you do not have any PLR, just go to google and do a search for "free PLR". You should find lots. There are also some really good deals on fiverr.com for PLR so you could do a search there too using their search function.
I would recommend if using blogger.com (blogspot) to not add any adsense, cpa or affiliate links until at least one week has passed (preferably 2 weeks) to avoid having them taken down by google. I have lost a couple blogspots for adding monetization too soon.
Another suggestion is to invest a couple bucks and buy an .info domain which you will own and will not be removed by google. You can set up the delayed posting also if you are using wordpress on the domain. If you do this, you won´t need to worry about waiting to add your monetization method of choice.
And to get more traffic to your "zombie blogs" submit your rss feed of the blog to the following :
feednuts.com
feedage.com
feedagg.com
rss-king.com
goldenfeed.com
rss2.com
rssmountain.com
Most of those will give you some html code to install on your blog to link back to them. Install it, because it helps you get more traffic.
Also, go to ping.fm and set up an account and add social bookmarking sites like bebo, tumblr, friendfeed, typepad, twitter, myspace, etc. Then go to their service/tools section and choose RSS Feeds and add your RSS url feed from your blog.
That way, every time your blog updates with your scheduled posts, it will automatically notify all those social bookmark sites that you set up.
I know IM can be confusing with so much to learn so I just wanted to lay out a simple plan for newbies to implement.
