Will Ezine allow you to ....

write an article in a personal story style? Like an article describing a common but freely shared experience?

Would appreciate if someone can let me know if this is possible.
Thanks

I believe so.....as long as the article provides some good content and adds value to their directory....

As long as you don't violate any of their editorial guidelines, you can use any style you want.

Id say you can, but question is that how good your CTR will be. Test it out, see how it goes. If they don't allow that, they will tell you. They are not going to ban your or anything like that. Just your article won't pass review.

I would expect the article to be approved, so long as you meet their requirements. First, you can't self-promote in the body of the article. Second, though they don't say this in their guidelines (at least that I've found yet), if you break the story into segments, each has to stand on its own.

As an example, you can't have a title that is "15 ways to do something - Part one" and only have the first 5 or 8 in the firsty article. Instead, you have to have a title more like "Ways to do something - Part one" and then indicate inside the article that you intend to show the first 5 in part one, then put a message like "for the next 5 ways, see the next article in our series, "how to do something - Part 2"
At the top of part 2, put a real general statement what part 1 was, then continue on. This way, each individual segment stands alone, and can get approved. It also has people coming back looking for the rest of the parts.

I learned the hard way about dividing up an article that was waaaay too long. Another approach might be "5 ways to do something" as the first article, then "5 more ways to do something". Of course, in the title sequence EZA seems to prefer, it might be "How to do something - 5 ways", followed by "How to Do Something - 5 more ways" and so on.

Yeah, as long as it's not self promoting and it's relevant and you don't put links in your content :-)
