If You Are Frustrated and Ready To Quit...

The hockey great Wayne Gretzky once said,

"100% of the shots you don't take, don't go in."

I was once like you are...

In fact, many of the people who offer expert advice in this forum were once like you are...

We understand your frustrations and your fears...

Those of us who have been successful online are often keen to help others to achieve some measure of success online...

When I started online in November of 1995, there really wasn't that much IM-related information available, from which I could learn... I started finding the resources I needed to learn real success strategies towards the end of 1998...

When I started online, there was:
  • No Paypal;
  • No Google;
  • No Warrior Forum;
  • No Ezine Articles;
  • No SEO Book;
  • No Clickbank.

When the online resources started coming together, I started getting myself in order...

I was like a vacuum sweeper sucking up all of the free information I could find anywhere online to help me establish myself with a successful online business...

It took me three years to start finding the things I needed to become successful online... And within the next year, I had put my first sale on the books... One year later, I was earning as much as I did on my job...

You entered this process with much more available help than I did when I started...

Don't waste this opportunity you have been given...

Turn on your vacuum cleaner brain and start sucking up information from as many resources as you can find online...

Read everything you can put your eyes on...

Learn, learn, and learn some more...

At a certain point, you will need to determine YOUR BEST COURSE OF ACTION...

THEN TAKE ACTION...

Keep in mind...

You will find challenges, and you will need to meet them head on and overcome them...

Success doesn't just fall out of the sky...

We all have had to work hard at it, and we have all had to face and overcome the challenges put in our paths...

If you don't want to face the challenges that your business will present to you, just go get a job and forget this online thing...

It is okay to acknowledge your limitations and to walk away from what could have been...

There is no shame in quitting, if that will make your life easier for you...

Because what I am advising is not going to be easy...

Starting and operating your online business may be the hardest thing you will ever do in your lifetime...

Read everything that you can read...

Get comfortable with where you want to go and make sure you have a good plan to follow...

Then take action...

Be prepared to face any challenges that come your way...

And when you have no where to go for answers, come to some place like the Warrior Forum and ask for help...

There are plenty of people here, who would be happy to help you find the solutions you are looking to find...

But keep in mind that the answers you will find here may not always be the right answers...

Some people are shooting from the hip...

And some people are shooting from experience...

We are all people, and that means that we all have our minds set to one point of view or another...

So get the mixture of opinions available and test it against your own belief about what is right for you and wrong for you and your business...

Think of the Warrior Forum as your Presidential Cabinet...

The thing that makes great Presidents great is the willingness to surround themselves with smart people, then to ask opinions and consider the varying points of view...

Without a doubt, the Warrior Forum is full of smart people, some much smarter than others... There are simply a number of people whose opinions I value more highly than others... LOL

Your success will be helped by your willingness to ask pointed and very specific questions, and to take opinions from a wide variety of minds... Then make a decision about the point of view you want to use for your guidance...

Today, it is probably difficult for you to imagine a time when you will be successful online...

That is because your confidence is weak...

But your confidence will be built on your successes and failures...

Get your education, and take action to make your business real...

Your failures will show you what not to do in the future or what you need to do better...

And your successes will add to your confidence...

And both are important, because they both contribute to your state of mind, and your state of mind is everything in your long-term success...

So it all comes down to this...

We know you are frustrated and you feel unsure of your next step...

But you should make a decision, starting today...

You must either Commit Yourself to Your Future Success, OR You Should Walk Away and go back to the job world now...

We would like to see you join us in success, but the life of the online entrepreneur is not for everyone...

There is no shame in walking away if that is your decision...

In fact, there is more respect in that, because you have actually made a decision that will have an impact on your life...

Until you figure out if you are going to commit to success, we cannot be of much help to you...

But in taking a decision, you have moved closer to your life's purpose...

I wish you the best of luck in whatever decision you take...

    That is a good post and well said TPW success just doesn't fall in your lap most of the time you have to go out there and make it happen through hard work, dedication, persistence, and that never give up attitude that won't let you fail.

    Like you said there is a slight learning curve involved in Internet marketing but once you get past it the sky is the limit.

    The Internet can be your playground and your virtual ATM machine. If you want something bad enough there is no stopping you.

    Wonderful post and spot on, Bill. If you truly want to be successful in internet marketing, you absolutely have to adopt a no-holds barred attitude and give it everything you've got.

    You cannot be "lukewarm" and expect to make any true and lasting progress in IM, but too many people want to have their cake and eat it too. They want success, but they're not willing to sacrifice and give things up in order to become successful.

    There is no point in saying you want something, and then show the opposite through your actions. Paying lip service and just talking about being successful will not get you anywhere. Too many people want things easy and still want to succeed. I've talked to many people, including personal friends who say they want to succeed in IM, yet they're not willing to give up one or two hours of their favorite tv shows or sacrifice going out with friends so that they can work on their internet marketing instead.

    You have to question whether they're truly committed with half-hearted behavior like this. There can be no half-measures if you want to succeed in IM. Either you're all in, or you're completely out of the game. Just make up your mind one way or the other, otherwise you'll go through a lot of misery trying to figure out this IM thing.

    Tony Robbins says that repitition is the mother of skill. It also holds true for IM. You have to learn the skills and learn to apply them. It takes time and you make mistakes. But once you've mastered it you are on your way. And the opportunity for IM is just starting. More and more people buy online, ebooks are now mainstream literature on Amazon etc.

    Read Bill's post again if are at the point of giving up. This stuff really works. Just pay your dues

      Bill, are you sure you want to be an online marketer? I think you'd be much better off doing motivational speeches and just making people feel better

        Bill is only able to "sound" motivational because he has gone down this same path and faced the very same challenges that the rest of us have! His words come out of experience and the school of hard knocks, without actually being in the trenches he would never be able to relate the way he does to the rest of us!

            Very funny, Caleb. You'll actually have to call to get a hold of me at an unearthly hour such as this because I have a bad habit of leaving my computer on overnight and may not actually be physically at it, even though it may appear so...LOL!

    Well put, we seem to get discouraged a lot because things are work for us right off the bat. It does take time. This is some great wisdom that should remind all of us what truly produces results ... ACTION!!!

    Couldnt agree more Bill.....as usual.

    We all need to acknowledge the fact that frustration can often be a good thing. Without that feeling there is no sense of real urgency to keep pushing us in the right direction....and success itself hardly ever comes without a few failures first.

      If You Are Frustrated and Ready To Quit... Think twice!

      Quitting means loosing... There's no room for quitting nowadays, especially when you already have started it up. Engaging into business needs a strong determination and action. GO.GO.GO.

    When you quit, it will be your dream's end. Every time you take a hold of your computer you will most likely remember internet marketing. So I suggest that if you fail, dont give up and look for another stuff to keep you busy and will make you money.

    Mindset is so often overlooked by newbies as being obvious information that they already "know", but knowing and utilizing it correctly are two completely different things.

    It's especially sad when you see "newbies" who have been trying to do IM for several years and still haven't made any real headway, NOT because they don't know a lot of this stuff but because they're too afraid of failing at it! Without focused massive action, all that knowledge and information contained in your head is completely worthless.
