The pros:
- you can have faster your product on the market
- you need less tools/talent
The cons:
- some people need sales material to promote it and might not buy only the product
- the perceived value might be lower
By sales material I mean:
- a sales page
- a cover for your product
- ready made follow up eMails for your affiliates
- banners
