How to focus when you have several websites and promotions

I wanted to share with everyone something I did today that has really
helped put things into focus.

It is easy for me to get out of focus and begin to go in circles. I am building new websites, while trying to maintain old ones. Which old ones can I drop back on spending so much time on and which do I need to continue to focus on while working on the new things.

I looked at a few affiliate programs and ran the figures out for three months to see what my top sellers were and from which websites.

So Clickbank for example, I have two accounts. I ran both out to 3 months in the reporting and printed that out. Now it is very clear as to which things I have been promoting are the top sellers. Also, which websites have done the best.

In my case, I need to focus on 3 websites that are making the most sales, and in the clickbank example, there are 4 ebooks that are the top sellers.

In physical products with another company, it is two websites and 4 products.

So I am going to promote those things more, write some articles, get more backlinks and get more momentum up with those ebooks and products. They have been proven and it would be silly to drop back on those while developing the new things.

Hope that helps someone.

Good advice - but don't forget to try new things as well. Things change and you don't want all your eggs in a couple baskets.

    Hello,

It is always a good habit to spend the first of every month of the last day of every month going over your statistics.

Check out traffic stats and sales.

Look at the top sellers as well as the changes from last month.

Try to remember what you did to get the top sellers.

    Start from there.

    Thanks,

That sounds a pretty sensible decision than working on something which does not fetch you anything. If the products and ebooks have proved that they are fast moving, then concentrate on them and don't forget to look for other new products also which would be coming up everyday. Don't lose out on those new items by fixing your attention only on these running products. You have to keep adding to your list new things which appeal to you as prospective sellers.
