Warriors, I need some advice...

Okay yesterday I asked about the tattoo niche and got some good advice from you guys and I talked to Suzanne who gave me even more good advice. But now I've been in contact with Free Tattoos Pictures, Designs, Piercing & Ideas at Checkoutmyink who has great PR and tons of traffic and they might want to buy my domain because it is such a great keyword.

I'm going to be candid with you since the tattoo niche is one of the hardest to monetize.

Here is my site:
Best Piercings And Tattoos Kits Reviews By Professional Tattoo Artists

Right now it is just an Amazon review site but I don't think that method is going to work with this niche. Suzanne suggests that I just make it into a blog and post piercings and tattoos photos, which is a good idea. However Check Out My Ink might want to buy it.

Site stats:
* zero traffic
* 6 year old domain name
* 33,000+ monthly searches for "piercings and tattoos"

If I were to sell it, how much do you think it is worth? And don't ask me to use one of those site calculators. They only go by traffic and PR. This site has zero traffic but it's a great keyword phrase and has domain age.

What is your advice? Thanks in advance.

I would go to one of those domaining forums for specific advice.

I'd imagine you can get several thousand, but I'm no expert.

It is worth whatever you can convince someone it's worth.
      Perceived value.
How you sell it. Auction, word of mouth, as part of a single training package for someone who wants to get into the business...

I just checked one place, estibot.com, which says it's worth $210. But that's a free appraiser so take it for what it's worth.

It's just like marketing a product, except this time you only have 1 of the product to sell.

      - or -

Monetize it and promote it. Outsource obtaining tattoo designs and then start a membership and offer so many new designs a month.

      Or something like that.

Ramp the traffic up and sell advertising.

      Lots of possibilities.

Yeah another appraisal site said it was worth $25. LOL

It's because there is no traffic going to it. I had it parked for a few years with plans for it but never got around to it.

I just think it's worth a lot to THEM because they are making a go of the niche and they could dominate the search engine rankings because they already rank for the term. They could have two sites in the top 10.

You could offer free patterns to look at, blocked by a CPA offer one needs to fill out to see into the site.

I would think Suzanne would be the best person to ask. If you mean sbucciaral, she knows more than a thing or two about domain selling and valuing.

You are right. Tattoo niche is where people search for free designs. They really don't want to buy. Tattoo artists already know where they can get their kits. If you are part of club (most artists are), they have huge discounts for inks etc. So they are not going to buy them online.

Is your domain ranked in search engines for your keywords. If so, where? 1st page?

Check out Flippa: The #1 Marketplace for Buying and Selling Websites You might get lucky.

Because it is such an exact Match domain name speak to Matt LaClear here on the forum he Guarantees page 1 rankings and did mine for a reasonably competitive KW for $37.... I think It is a bit more for a KW with this many exact searches but speak to him, he and his team are fantastic.

What I am saying is why not Rank it before you sell it spend a month or so on it and then Flip. With a ranking your site could bring in considerably more I think.

Honestly the number of searches in Google doesn't really matter when selling it, if the site isn't ranked well for the keyword. I would just spend the time to get it on Page 1 of Google then sell it. You will walk away with 10x more profits. Or better yet, come up with an informational product to sell yourself and keep it. Once you get on page 1 you'll have a lot of traffic and probably won't want to get rid of it.
