Hi Guys and Gals....

This is a serious quandary that I have had for some time now and I really need your advise and suggestions.

Here is my situation.

I am the district manager for kiosk sales at a major newspaper.

My crew (and myself) goes out into the retail community like Wal-Mart, Winn Dixie, Hess Gas, Gate Gas, Food Lion and other retail establishments and we set up a small table to invite customers to sign up for a subscription to the newspaper. It's very good money but as you already know, things are thinning out everywhere. At least here in the US.

As you can imagine, I meet many thousands of people face to face over a months time span or so.

I always feel like I am leaving money on the table even when I get a sale.

I would very much appreciate your input on the subject of what I may be able to offer all these people that I meet? (besides the newspaper)

I have tried satellite and got a few sales. Tried cell phones and got a few sales. I tried web site design, got a sale. Pain in the butt. Don't want to do that again. I signed up for a Comcast affiliate program and was all hyped up about that and then they canned my affiliate account because I was not allowed to do LOCAL marketing. Only internet, and that did not work out.

I just for the life of me can not find a perfect fit for this particular situation.

High paying CPA offers, other affiliate programs, something?

I DO WORK in allot of areas that have a high concentration of unbanked customers so a prepaid Visa or Mastercard program would be great but I am yet to find one that pays even close to what my time would be worth.

If I could find SOMETHING, I could even have my entire crew do it and give them a cut.

Could some of you successful Warriors here please share your thoughts and ideas on this matter.

Thank you most kindly and have a great day.

John Dumas

PS - I could really use some help here so if you big guns could help me make this a sticky thread, it would help allot, I'm sure

    John,

because I was not allowed to do LOCAL marketing.
Just curious, do you live in New York?

    Anyway...

I owned a several mall kiosks in the past so it's a bit
related to what you're talking about.

Ever considered doing a mall kiosk business? You
probably already have the demonstration sales skills
needed to make bank with the right product.

Now that I think about it, tomorrow I'll try to post
an article on the WF about some of my best mall kiosk
    bizs.

It's a profitable industry if you have a good location,
good salesfolks, and a good product.

As you meet so many people I would get them to fill out a quick survey getting email, name, interests, job or something like that.

Once you get this info and you can then go through and see if there are any peeks and then target them with differing offers.

We did this for a small business here in Australia and noticed quite a few people in the education field and a bunch of lawyers and some finance consultants. We then were able to target each group with specific offers related to their interests.

Each paper that comes out you can send them the main summary of what was in this subscription. Just remember to make information sandwiches. Lots of free info sprinkled with offers.

To get them to fill in the survey maybe offer a free 3 month subscription to the paper or something like that which you can then convert into a full subscription as well.

    1. Find a good, simple to complete, CPA offer - Win a free Ipod, Iphone etc....
    2. Join CPA program
    3. Register a domain.
    4. Get small flyers printed with the offer, not forgetting your URL.
    5. Hand out from kiosks to target audience, perhaps males/females under 25/30
    6. Count commissions
    7. Send me 10%
