I would avoid PPC, until you have a budget to test it correctly...

Definitely stick with article marketing, press releases, social marketing, forum marketing, and classifieds (although classifieds will have a limited impact, unless you are selling physical products or services, and not affiliate products)...

The first four --- article marketing, press releases, social marketing, forum marketing --- will help with your potential to get search engine traffic, so all are worth sticking with...

Email marketing is good if it is your own list, but you will have to drive traffic to your list opt-in, so we are talking about the same thing... If you are buying advertising in other peoples' mailing lists, then do stick with the email marketing...

On your own list, email marketing is great for repeat traffic...

If you are talking about safe lists when you say email marketing -- what a waste...

There are more than 3 dozen ways to generate traffic to your website... In my Multiple Traffic Streams report, I define 35 of them and only 7 absolutely require a financial investment...

Set up another blog or two that you can post to and backlink to your site. You can have a network of blogs by using Weebly, Tumblr, Blogger, Wordpress and others and continually update these with backlinks pointing back to your main site.

Don't forget Squidoo and Hubpages too.

try video and audio marketing. use the same article(s) you placed on the article directory and create a youtube video. if you have windows on your computer you should have Windows movie maker to create a video. just read your article and maybe add some images and your done. didn't cost you anything.

you guys beat me to the punch with most the awesome traffic stimulating ideas, but I'll add a few more here from my personal checklist just to get a few more in the mix.

• Hold a mystery prize hunt on your site to stimulate repeats & referrals.
• Have some business cards made with your url on it & hand them out locally.
• Talk to a Cab driver & establish a local / joint advertising campaign with incentives. A cab driver can prove to be a Great asset handing out your business card to EVERY customer that rides in his/her cab. (Note: there are independent owner operator drivers as well, you may be able to make a larger scaled advertising deal with one).
• List any positive reviews, articles, etc. another company wrote about you & use them as showcase items to establish trust.
• Team-up with your weaker competitors to beat your stronger competitors. You can create a joint venture and cross promotion deals that will pass-up the stronger competition (E.G. Combined product packages, Discount coupon books, etc.).
• Remember, unless your product calls for technical words, you want your ad to be read without people pulling out a dictionary, so keep it simple.
• Create some freebies, then allow your visitors to give away your online freebies to others as long as there is a Link back to your site.

The above are just a few of the ideas I thumb through daily. A combination of both online & offline marketing strategies. Keep in mind that offline marketing locally can be just as effective or better than your online efforts as long as they have a url to your website to visit. Naturally though, it's important to have an easy to remember url when when doing local marketing.

Among the ones you've mentioned, I think social and video marketing are the most effective as they can go viral very quickly! Just think of all the videos from Youtube being shared on FB...the sky is the limit!
