I've seen a lot of talk about Yahoo Answers for the past 2 years at least.

Has anyone had success with it? I am building up an account at the moment so I can post links in my source but I wanted to know what sort of traffic can be expected from best answers?

You have to be very careful with your Answers account because it is very easy to get banned. Other marketers that are working in same niche as you can flag your answers as spam to avoid competition. My account was banned within 2 days of using the method so I never really saw an increase in traffic from it.

I think I'm looking to build up a lot of points first, and build up some trust, maybe even a top contributor status. At least that way I have some strong trust in the community so other marketers can't really use reporting/flagging against me.

I use Yahoo answers with some of my CPA websites.

It works well get around 150 visits per day to each one and about 50 of those convert, the trick is to find good questions answer well I even tell them about the CPA thing I say something like: 'You have to fill in a survey but its worth it and you only have to do it once'
