Banners in sig.

I have noticed some people placing small banners in their sigs. I went through the WF sig rules and see nothing about it.

Is this allowed now?

    Is this gone now? I'm confused as to where to find it??

      That's that sussed. What about changing the image if needed.. all easy to do?

        It's easy to add and change the images. It shows up below your regular signature editor.

        I'm pretty sure it's no to the naked ladies, though

    Could you put an image in your signature that was promoting an upcoming WSO...like a prelaunch buzz builder? Would this violate the "dont talk about something before launch" rule? Can you put links in the image?

      CAn you give me a link to that rule I have seen many WSO's that sell things before the WSO is Live and surely that breaks the rule.

      The image is clickable and you can link it to
      anything that is permissible in a signature.

      Yes you can, as long as it's your own product. Here's why.

      The signature area is where we are allowed to promote our stuff (within the rules for signatures). We are not allowed to do so in our posts.

    Well, to be honest I havent found it either...but.....

    When I first signed up to be a WF member I got banned for 7 days for "pre-launch promotion" when I posted to a thread offering to let a woman who was having a hard time getting started in IM have access to site that I currently have (which should launch soon...shhh..dont want to get banned again, lol).

    I was totally baffeled...had no idea about the rule, wrote an email to CS, never got a reply and 7 days later wass reinstated. Im sure it was some sort of BOT the site has looking for certian words or wording but still...I wasnt actually "promoting" anything at all, was just being nice to the woman and trying to help her. I didnt even mention the sites name and poof...banned.

    So Im wondering if these banners or pics in the sig area could be considered the same?

    OK...once purchased where do you upload your sig image? I received the email from WF thanking me for upgrading and joinging the War Room (which I was already a memebr of) and thoguht once I completed the purchase I would be given a link or something but nope...

    A little help here would be much appreciated!

      In the red menu bar at the top of the forum click User CP then click Edit Signature in the slide down menu that appears. There will be a section at the bottom of the edit signature page that allows you to upload or link to your image.

    Don't think I've noticed these banners that much. I think you need to pay monthly to get them active.
