I build niche site promoting cpa, amazon, clickbank and some of them have adsense as well. I keep the one that makes me $100 to $150 a month and I sell the others that don't do so well.

To promote the site I use article marketing, video marketing and I build lots of edu backlinks.

Not much more really.

I'm sure the OP can speak for himself, but I think the point of posts like these is sharing good news with a like-minded community and encouraging others that success can be achieved.

How much value did your post add?

This is the advice that I give to all of my students. You can't bounce around from this to that and expect to be successful. You must stick to a plan and make it work for you. Your plan can and should be fluid, making tweaks along the way, but stick to one general set of guidelines and make it work for you!

I started IM about 2 years ago and to-date have only earned $100+... but still trying.

My IM initiatives were interrupted when my Mum had a stroke and I was caring for her last May.

I lost my site as the host server closed it down before I could move it out and now I have to start all over again since my Mum is stable now.

I am not giving up yet and congrts to you again!

His advice to stick to a system and work it for at least two months is worthy advice. The only thing that I would add is to make sure that the system is based on case study and not theory.

There are lots of people that are selling system and don't show any proof I am not selling nothing here man, just giving some encouragement.

If you want to see the proof that I do make money online check my sign if that makes you happy.

You are missing something Al, but it's not something we can fix in this thread. Let's just congratulate the OP and go back to work.

I just am understanding different business models in this industry and about to make a thread on it.

The way I understand it can be broken down into the different forms of how traffic is brought: article marketing, ppc, seo, forum posting, etc

A combination of these can be used and there are so many ways that this can be done.

What you mentioned in your post is really key to succeeding in IM - you really have to focus on one method and keep from getting distracted by other things. There is no such thing as instant success, so this is something you have to keep in mind while tweaking, testing and improving your implementation until you see actual results.

I remember the day I made my first $300 in one day. My wife had to look 3 times to believe it herself. It is a good feeling of accomplishment and makes you feel like your really putting your time to good use.

A message to newbies never give up. My only tips is you need to grab a system and follow it for at list 2 months, don't just from one system to another looking for the magic push button that will make you Millionaire, doesn't exist.

I don't buy this analogy. I agree many people do get side tracked when buying a wso or a system product and move on to the next thing. I think the vast vast majority of system or products out there plainly do not work so you can keep following month in month out what they say and you will get dejected and get nowhere.There are many internet marketers who knowingly will make money off the back of joe public and move on to the next thing / gadget they will try to flop.

There are some gems out there amongst the heap of bs but to say just find any system and stick with it is naive. It's funny but looking through the wso's how many people actually say I followed your systems and it worked and made me x amount of dollars.

What is This System? Sounds like another Roulette Betting System!!
I am aware that without traffic, any website is D.E.A.D. So, how to get traffic. A million guys will sell you the Secret. I believe Google has more people working for it with PhD's than they have at MIT. They're on to every trick in the book to do with anything that is deemed to be suspicious. Google really is intelligent and i would err on the side of overestimating its intelligent methods of weeding out litter, which could knock your PR into outer space.
Nice to see you can get $300. Now just do that x10 and go surfing.

Thanks for this post. I started off looking for that push button product and kept flitting from one thing to another. I think that your post is a motivational one. Even though there are others who may earn more, it shouldn't matter how much you are earning. The fact that you are making money online is more than what many people are able to manage to do.
I will definitely be sticking with one plan for much longer than I used to.

Congratulations Simon! You just need to be focused and yes, I agree with you. Jotting down your goals especially your financial objectives can help motivate. There are days (and I'm sure you've had some of these) when you become lazy, disappointed, worried and apprehensive but with determination, anything's possible! Keep it up!
