Advice on becoming domain reseller

Hey Everyone,

I am considering becoming a domain reseller and wanted to get some advice. It is a charge to start selling but the prices for different .com .net and so on are really reasonable. I wanted to see if you all think there may be a market for this or is it to dominated by godaddy and other places. Any feedback will help

Forget about it. Domains have very small profit
margins. Being a reseller is even worse.

Registrars make most of their profit upselling other
services: hosting, email, ecommerce, domain privacy.

Easier if you are actively involved with building sites (new local clients are best for this). You become a one-stop-shop. Don't expect to beat the big boys with traditional I'M though. You're in THEIR ballpark and they've been playing for a very long time.

If you registered your domain with Godaddy you are already a reseller. You can get the banners and links from your account login.

If you know what you're doing it could work out in you're favour, though I wouldn't plan on it for your main income stream!
