I recently launched my new marketing and advertising website, however I've been in the business for years and this is my 4th attempt at rebranding to appeal to a different user group with my old sites still up

I just wanted to get an idea of what some people on here might think to help improve my site as far as design and development, and all the wording just to see how the flow is.

All feedback is welcome any insight that you guys and girls might have in helping me convert more would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The site is rasifranks.com

Thanks again!

hi rasi, just checked out your website and have this feedback for you.

I felt the site colours are too stark (white).
I think you could have a very good message but it just seems to be lost in translation and there is only a little bit about what you do and what your company offers.

You need testimonials on your pages - scrolling banner, maybe

I would strongly suggest a "how to" video page to give some content away to visitors and to have them return.

try a pop up banner asking for opt in detaiils for a free video on "how to drive traffic to your new business" (or similar).

Add more services: androids won't stay popular forever. Add email, internet and other marketing options even if you ahve to oursource them once you win the business.

    I hope this helps. Matt

I think being a marketing guy you need to focus more on improving your websites inbound links and on-site SEO. Just my opinion.

I think it's pretty, but I'm not sure what you're selling. I clicked on the Services link and I still couldn't tell for sure. I can guess, but I don't think you want people guessing at what your product is.

The template is too plain and there isn't enough information to really sell yourself (services). Spruce it up a bit and add more content. And, just my opinion, I hate the "read more" mouseover effect.

Overall, I like the layout of the site. But I noted a few things that don't add to a professional feel.

          1. Your fonts are horrible. They look very jagged in IE and that makes them hard to read.

          2. The "Experience" logo doesn't look professional at all. I like the idea but think it would look much better with a crisper, more adult font style.

          3. I agree with the others in that I really don't know what it is you're offering. And don't leave it to another page - you need to show what you can do for the prospect the minute they hit your page. They're not going to search for that information.

          Good luck,
          Tina

Is this just a template or the actual site?

If it's the latter, I'm with foxanthony. I have no idea what it's all about. If I was just surfing, say clicking through a few search results, I'd probably skip to the next after all of 3 seconds. Maybe not even.

"Experience" -> Ok, so experience doing what? networking? drawing comics?

I'm not gonna read fine print in 3 seconds, only headlines and pictures, and if I can't spot what I'm looking for right away - Next!

Wow thanks guys! I really needed to see all that insight into trying to get my site up to the fullest potential. Its only been up for a few weeks and I know thats no excuse but I can only see so much from my point of view so seeing all the comments REALLY HELPS!

My original thought was to keep it simple so people could maybe see everything we're about in a few short pages and to more focus on the person reading the site than my company itself.

But you guys have some great insight into how to improve it and I see some areas where we've gone wrong and am definitely going to go through and re-do some of the design and the text just to give a better overall feel and a quicker easier way to figure what exactly our services are.

So essentially this is my take:

            1. Better colors (catch peoples attention)
            2. Maybe some testimonials
            3. Maybe a how to video or some sort of video about our services
            4. Work on inbound links and SEO
            5. Make "Services" page more in depth or more specific to what the services we offer
            6. "Read More" mouseover should be taken out
            7. Change fonts
            8. Change "Experience" Banner and maybe add something more appealing to our services to catch people right away
            9. Maybe an "About Us" section
            10. More specific on the home page about what it is we do

Again, Thanks for the insight any more will be appreciated and I will go over everything and see what I can fix and I'll be back with the next revision that hopefully you guys can re-evaluate

            Thanks again!

Your site colors really aren't that sharp.

I think that you should put a little "About Our Company" on the front page.

On the services page, you need to be MUCH MUCH more descriptive. I want to know EXACTLY what you are going to do for me. Possibly some price estimates?

    Hope that helps!
