Hi,

Do you put affiliate links into ebooks when you sell them? The links can be to amazon products, clickbank etc. If so, have found this to effective or a waste of time?

What is the easiest and best way to put these links into ebooks to you use any particular software.

Thanks for you help.

Make sure that you put the link in as a redirect from a page on your domain to the affiliate site. Like domain.com/thiswidget, that way you have full control. There are some scripts for this, but it's pretty simple.

I do it all the time, but I've only ever made 2 sales from it. You might as well try. I've never had anyone ask for a refund or anything from seeing an affiliate link.

Thanks for your replies guys. It doesn't seem that anyone is making huge sums from it.

What sort of ebooks are you putting the links in are they your own ebooks or PLR ebooks? What sort of products are you linking to, are the links pointing to the right products?

Profits depend on the amount of ebooks you have in the market. If you have sold 100 copies and get 2 sales you can then target 500 copies to get 10 sales. It can be useful extra revenue.

I have done it, but the biggest problem is that some people that buy the ebooks never do anything, furthermore it is very difficult to create sales from there

If the ebook they have bought from you is cheap and said ebook contains an outstanding value or intriguing offer , why wouldn't they click on the offer?

If however the ebook they have bought for you is expensive they are less likely to click on an offer because they expect to receive all the answers for the price paid.
