I just wish that some of these hackers...

I just wish that some of these hackers, especially the ones from Russia, would realign their objectives with more ethical outcomes.

I mean, some of this stuff they do to hack into your website, and plant a robot to process their outgoing spam mail is pretty sophisticated programming. And the entire objective is to sell cheap crap like fake Rolex watches.

When you consider what their conversion rate must be for this crap, I gotta wonder, if they actually did something toward a positive outcome, what sort of success they could achieve.

There's clearly a lot of talent here, motivation and persistence sure isn't lacking...all for the objective of screwing you. Wonder what would happend if they used those same characteristics to actually deliver something of value to a client.

I'm shaking my head...

    hacking is bad but it can cause a positive outcome for those people who hack.

    but you're right, it is better if they'll use their intelligence in a good way.
    maybe by doing that, nobody's site will be stepped out?

    It has nothing to do with you. it's about making money. you are a mule, a means to an end.

    Buying cheap knockoffs of expensive items is a huge market. They are delivering something of value to their clients. Is a cheap rolex watch of less value than a $7 ebook on how to make a million online?

    Now, this doesn't excuse hacking but it comes with the territory, just like a bank always runs the risk of being robbed.
