How to display URLs in posts? SOLVED

Hi guys,

the new forum has the habit of turning URLs into text displaying the target site's page title.

I dislike that. I'd rather see the URL in a post. It can be memorized then, and it will remain intact in print outs.

Is there a way to prevent the forum of changing the URLs in my posts? I tried to revert it in source code but it didn't work.

I just need a few more posts (need 15) to post URLS, then I can figure this out for you. LOL

I believe you have to go to "advanced" when you're writing/replying to a post and then uncheck "automatically parse links in text."

    Let's see if that works:

    Edit: yup, that worked!

      Suzanne,

Thank you, I missed that option.
Should have asked earlier instead of messing with the source code again and again.

You mean like this warriorforum.com or like this www.warriorforum.com ?

Type the URL then "make" it a link with the link tool in the forum editor as you create the post.
