Anyone experienced with installed Easy Video Player 2? This problem is driving me crazy!

Hey guys,

I've just bought and attempted to install Easy Video Player 2. I've followed the instructions to a T, though when I click the final install button, I get this error message...

Query: TRUNCATE TABLE `evp_cache_users`
Error: DROP command denied to user 'bgm_evpuser'@'localhost' for table 'evp_cache_users'

There doesn't seem to be anything in the help materials about it. If anyone can help, I'd be massively appreciative. I've installed it 3 times over now and I get the same thing every time.

    I have had easy video player 1 and Easy Video Player 2 and both installed without a hitch. What hosting platform are you using?

    Hi Shannon, I'm using Hostgator. From the error message above, I'm guessing it's something to do with the database I set up on my domain's cpanel. Again, after I got the error the first time, I deleted the database and made a fresh one and still the same message.

    Just looking quickly, it *seems* like your user doesn't have privileges to drop a table. Make sure your user (bgm_evpuser) has the appropriate privileges. If you're using cPanel, go into mySQL Databases; scroll down to "Add user to Database"; select your user and your database; click on Add. This will bring you to a screen where you can set privileges; make sure "drop" is selected.

      Hi,
      could somebody please explain how to get EVP 2 working with amazon s3 and wordpress??
      I have a feeling that the training videos are not clear and coherent in this respect.

      I use hostgator and installed the evp folder inside my domain in the www directory.
      I did the installation as per video and installed the plugin in my wordpress blog.
      I uploaded my video to amazon with S3Fox into the folder that EVP2 created in my S3 account
      When I push to EVP button a box pops up and wants a code (Visual mode)
      What do I put in here? The URL as per right click on the uploaded video file?
      All I get so far is
      [Your video will appear here] but it doesn´t.

      Could you help me with evp 2 installation? after I installed evp2 and went to my domain/evp/install I get a full screen plain white background with the evp set up options. It doesn't look like the "dashboard" and at the bottom after you put in all your info it says click the buttom below to finish and install evp2 but there are no clickable buttons.
