I own virtualliveactors.com for years my supplier who I purchase the work from keeps raising the prices now I have no profit margin. The site gets 200 uniques a day from google alone looking for video advertising but I'm making no money now.

I was thinking maybe some kind of video service or something really not sure but I know someone here will know what to do

I WILL GIVE $$ VIA PAYPAL FOR THE BEST IDEA

      1. It's usually a bad practice to have names end/begin with the same letter or with vowels.

      2. Long name/many syllables, hard to brand but good keys.

      3. If you're really just looking for ways to monetize it fast, I would test out simple direct forwarding to a few aff offers in that space, when I found one that converted, I would expand the site and dedicate the adzones to it to catch more seo. Livefaceonweb.com might have an aff prog < That's another wonky domain name but they managed to brand it well.

G'luck w/it and if it's a bung project causing loss sometimes it's better to just knock the emotions out and let it go/focus your time on new more lucrative things vs. trying to recoupe a downward spiral on 200 uniques a day.

EDIT: Don't want your $ btw

Sounds great but how do i do that and still keep my rankings?

Get the .tv of the domain name if you can and post licensed movies on the site. Make it a membership site where registered members Pay Per View or pay a one-off fee to view the movies.

Contact local movie actors, both established and upcoming ones, and discuss how you can promote their personality with the site.

I would say that, managing talent, and that is what were talking about here is probably a lot of work, but if you could find a reasonably technical video person and some willing college students you could manage, it,

You would need some guides about what type of clothing to wear, best for green screen.

lighting and shadow, (dos and donts) for the video, ideally if you could get some college students, to do some shots, that would be a good method, but you would need a signed talent release, to avoid any issues later.

I would look for a college town and someone that could manage the talent, I guess what were saying here is to replace your provider, something like this happened to a mall, in our area, they went from 5000 to 8000 for space rent and half the mall emptied out, they later realized their error but it was too late, most of the business owners had already closed and would not return, sad really because the "mall" was doing ok before the hike in rates, now they are bankrupt,

its greed mostly, one of the seven deadly sins, LOL, well the mall people are not laughing,

Could you commission some standard video introductions that you could sell, say, 10 each of? Lower cost to your users and more profit for you.

Perhaps a message encouraging website users to sign-up for a newsletter, or encouraging visitors to follow the site on Twitter, or Facebook.

I'm not sure if I'm following completely... You own the website, but you are the middle woman for making these videos? So, you purchase leads/jobs to make these website videos and they are charging you more per job? Pretty much your "affiliate" is asking you more per lead? The only source of traffic you have is search engines? I'm trying to get a clear idea of what your problem is so I can give my suggestions. Before even knowing the answers above, if you want to increase business, start looking for joint ventures. CPAs, attorneys, business consultants, web designers, etc...these are all businesses that work with business owners everyday. You could even offer package deals for marketing consultants to use your product in their business model rehauls for their clients. Find businesses who have competitors that use these virtual live actors and show them that their competitors have a leg up on them. What's the real effects of your product? Is it just better looking or does it actually cause pages to convert well? Does the audience interact more (use heatmaps to test) when you have these people on your screen? All of these things are going to be key to helping your page make more sales. Start collecting leads with some form of capture on your site...use your actors to point them to your form. Make a few generic videos that help convert some action for websites and then give viewers a 3 day trial with it... Don't lower your price. You are right in the ballpark of your competitors and your site/business comes across as much more professional. Find cheaper actors too. There are lots of things you can do, but I don't know your scenario completely. PM if you would like some talk time. I work with businesses everyday with their marketing approach. No sales pitch involved...I promise. Travis

it will be a good idea to try other websites such as face book and twitter where you will be able to advertise your products to the a larger group compared to the one you are using at the monent.then before you start working with them you should make sure that you have signed an agreement to show how you will pay for their services and when or at what conditions they can increase their charges.i wish you luck.

Hi, I'm interested to solve this problem, then I'll give you the best possible answer in here.

Since I have a limited informations about your condition, then I will just give you some possible options , ok?

If you're actually satisfied with your current supplier, then you can find another suppliers and compare the price. You can show the price you're given from each suppliers to other suppliers, so they are forced to lower the price with the same quality.

[You need a bit negotiation with them in this case, but in most cases it actually will work].

THe next possible option is you have to increase the price you sell to end user, plus you give some additional values that don't need cost to make it. Like you can create ebooks, or some other high value bonuses, this way you can increase your price but the prospects you get still happily will buy from you becuase you give them more value.

Do you have lots of satisfied customers? ASk them to give you testimonials for the bonuses you offer, then you'll literally get the trust from new prospect each and every day to buy from you even if you increase the price.

[I think you have to buy a OTO script for the backend sale, and of course COUNTDOWN SCRIPT to make the offer urgent. I tend to suggest you to create a eresistable offer].

I think this is the best suggestion you can get.

You said you aren't making any money, but is that because you're not making any sales, or because your profit margin is too small? If it's sales, then you need to market better. I don't have any experience in this niche, but it seems like 200 uniques per day is low. If it's profit margin, you need to either raise your prices or find a lower-priced vendor.

When a supplier of Walmart raises the prices of pinatas, Walmart in turn either raises the price that they sell the pinata for to the public... or they find a cheaper supplier. I don't know why your situation would be any different.

    Hi,

I did a search for alternatives to virtual live actors. Didn't return
the results I wanted. But it returned several possibilties for you
that involve doing business with other similar providers.

You can essentially setup a review type of site with good content
and promote other services as an affiliate.

alternative to live actors on websites - Google Search

Your site came up first, by the way. I saw at least two others
with lower prices than your current offering. One didn't have
any mention of an affiliate program. The other one did, but it's
    in the low 300 area.

Hope that helps and good luck.

    Ken
