Different browsers... different Google rank?

How is this possible?

Im really scratching my head on this one.

One of my old sites daytradepr.com (please dont blast it..its a work in progress)
but the point is, on IE it ranks #5 on page 1 of google for "Free Press Release"
On aol browser it also ranks #5 on first page...
On Google Chrome its not even ranked anywhere...

How can this be?

As you can imagine this is a hugely competitive keyword... and i'm really hoping IE/AOL is correct.

But if it is an error... how can this occur?

Very strange to me.

it's because on Chrome it caches visited URLs, so if you frequently visit your website via Google searches it assumed your website is what you're trying to find when you're searching. It's got nothing to do with index rank.

Probably IE and AOL have placed cookies on your computer and remember that is a site that you "like" - so they are showing you the results they think you want to see.

I try to make sure that I never click on my own sites after I've done a Google search.

Are you logged to your Google account in
any of these browsers? You'll get different
    results depending on your previous
    search and browsing activities.

    Yes, @LovelyCornSyrup is right.

Does anyone know if there is a way to stop Chrome behaving like that?

Whilst it's a good feature for searchers, it's not for marketers because it skews results when they're researching.

Gee, I was almost doing backflips.
Its probably because i'm logged into Gmail on Chrome.

Odd though, I did notice an uptick in registrations the last few days.... which thought it was reality.

I'll just have to monitor it.
