Hey, I am currently trying to make a website for computers. One part of my site I am currently focusing on is Operating Systems.
and if you google operating systems wikipedia is the first two sites to pop up. So how does that work with SEO Traffic? Is it still the higher precentage going to the first entry of wikipedia, then a lower to the second entry, then less to the third site on the page? Or does wiki screw that up?

from everything i've researched the number one spot gets most of the hits, followed by two and three,, then a much less majority for everything after that. so if you wanted the most possiblle traffic from "operating systems" then go after that coveted top spot. i have seen numbers in research saying that as high as 50% of the clicks for a keyword are on the number one spot. it surely makes a difference being on the first page in the top ten spot, but number one is where it's at.
    hope i answered your question
