Can you submit a product to ClickBank, RapBank, Paydotcom and Payspree?

Hey everyone,

I was wondering...

If you have a product that you want to submit to clickbank for affiliates to sell,
can you submit that same product to other affiliate programs like
RapBank, Paydotcom, Payspree, etc...

    You can, in the sense of it being permitted, but serious affiliates won't be willing to promote it if it can be bought in more than one place, for understandable reasons.

    We don't like the risk that we can use our skills, time, energy and effort to find the customer who (like so many) doesn't buy at his first visit to the sales page, but not long after buys it somewhere else - thanks to our work - and we don't earn anything from it. It only happens all the time.

    We'd rather promote another product instead, that doesn't give us that problem. You can imagine?

    From an affiliate's perspective, an "alternative place to buy it" is about the biggest leak there can be.

      I don't think there's any problem with that...you might miss some commission but you also migh get credit for sales through payspree (for example) as an affiliate in spite of the fact that the visitor had already seen the product through clickbank...

        Sorry, I'm not trying to be dense, but I don't understand how that helps at all. The affiliates' problem here is that our prospective customer (e.g. with our Clickbank cookie on his PC) finds the product again the following week via a Google search, which takes him to the PaySpree/PDC/whatever sales-page, and our Clickbank cookie is no good to us there. If the Clickbank sales-page is the only sales-page (as is usually the case, of course), we still get paid, even if the customer gets back to that page via Google. This is why vendors on Clickbank who have another sales page elsewhere, or another non-Clickbank way to pay, can attract only affiliates who haven't quite thought it through. Call me a judgmental skepchick but I would venture to suggest that those are perhaps not the affiliates that many vendors would ideally wish to attract.

          I guess I can see both sides of the spectrum...

          As a vendor you want to get your product out to as many
          affiliates as possible...

          On the other hand, affiliates work hard for their commissions and
          I would hate to see an affiliate send someone to my sales page and then
          have that customer purchase from a different affiliate, since it could
          be argued that the original affiliate laid the ground work for the sale...

          hmmmm....

            The four recent threads I recall on this subject (which is a fairly regular question from vendors) are this one, this one, this one and this one. I imagine you'll find quite a range of opinions there, if it helps.

    This is a problem we'll be solving at DigiResults.com in about a week's time. You'll be able to list a product on Clickbank, PayDotCom and DigiResults.

    You'll only have 1 sales page but we make sure affiliate tracking is done correctly so whoever the last affiliate to refer someone was (regardless of which network) the right person gets the credit.

    Affiliates don't have to do anything other than promote on their favoured network.

      That sounds like a great idea. That would sure solve alot of problems
