Can someone tell me..WHAT IN THE WORLD AM I DOING?

Hey all. I've found myself coming back and forth to Warrior Forum to get answers. This place ROCKS!!
Well, as you can see I am new and confused.

I just created a blog promoting a clickbank product. I grabbed some relevant content from yahoo answers, you tube, etc etc. I called myself trying to copy someone's example of how to make money with a blog site. I have little to no money to invest, other than what I put in for the domain and hosting (which was fairly cheap), so I've been doing everything the FREE way. I've used the keyword thing to the best of my knowledge and checked out the competition to the best of my knowledge.

How do I know my rankings? How can I increase my rankings? Where do I get free traffic? How do I know my site will make someone want to buy the product I'm promoting? DO I need more affiliate links, blaH blah, blahlkjljljljljkdnfldfjsfjsl?

What IN THE WORLD SHOULD I BE DOING?????

And no. I'm not crazy or anything. Just had to get yall attention.

    1. I use Market Samurai. But I am sure someone will chip in here with a free tool that checks your rankings, but I do not know of one.

    2. More backlinks. Update your site constantly.

    3. Write articles and submit to article directories, get ranked higher in the search rankings, create youtube videos, etc. There are many ways to get traffic. Just search this forum a bit.

    4. Read through your posts assuming you are a potential buyer. Would you buy the product based on your post? Think about things that you look for in a product when you are buying them.

    5. More affiliate links doesn't necessarily mean more sales.

  • LOL You cracked me up--most amusing "where the #$% do I start" post I've seen yet. You're in the right place, but you're going to find a lot more questions after doing some reading.

    Try this thread first. http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...riorforum.html

It's a lot of info for starting out, but let's face it, you're going to get a lot of info no matter where you start out. Your next challenge is going to be how I deal with all this information overload. Happens to everyone--just try to pick one good plan and follow it is all I can say for now.

    Good luck!
