Amazon aff site question

by manwalksintoabar

Should I link directly to Amazon from the front page of a site selling a household product? To start, I will just be putting up 5-10 products.

The way I have it now, there is a paragraph of copy and a link to the full post where the link to Amazon is.

I also want to change over to pages instead.

I would link directly to your amazon aff id from the homepage. Making the customer take an extra step is never a good thing

Thanks joecrupie for the clarification. I am going to put the first 5 from the first category on the front page and link directly to A.

I got the best results with only three items on the frontpage. But as Azian said, testing is the best.
